Horrible customer service, my girl went in to buy her first pistol and they made her feel stupid. I would never recommend going here

Guys work really hard there. Especially during this time of mayhem. Thanks for the great job.

I took my Mauser C96 which was experiencing sear issues to Lugerman in Fall 2025. The sear…read moredisconnect was not resetting and causing the trigger to not make contact. He charged me $150 to "adjust" the sear spring, the sear, and the trigger. Also charged me $100 for a function check, $150 for general gunsmithing, and $65 for a bolt stop which he convinced me I needed. I received the gun back which was working. I took it shooting and after about 50 rounds at absolute most over the course of a few months, the gun started experiencing the same issues again. I called them to ask why that might be, and rather than just admitting that they didn't do a good job they had the audacity to say "You can only shoot a Mauser C96 5 bullets a year" (which is the equivalent to half a magazine). This is after he sold me a bolt stop, which if it fails can seriously injure the user. Does that mean the bolt stop he sold me is only rated for 5 bullets a year? If so that is downright dangerous. He knows if I wanted my gun to be a wall piece I wouldn't have paid over $500 for maintenance. I found the issue was with the sear spring (a part they produce in house yet didn't replace when it was there) and fixed it myself. The part cost not even $50 including shipping and took me 10 minutes to install it. Even if it fails again, I'm down nowhere near as much money as I would've been taking it to him again. Just work on your guns yourself, or take it to a regular gunsmith. These pistols are not some kind of rocket science that require advanced alien knowledge to maintain, the majority of them are honestly pretty simple internally. Your local gunsmith can file down cams, match mag spring cutouts, and clean your steel pistol just fine.
