Have done multiple transfers here for both long guns and pistols. They also performed required work to make gun compliant. Highly recommend.

He charged me $150 to "adjust" the sear spring, the sear, and the trigger. Also charged me $100 for a function check, $150 for general gunsmithing, and $65 for a bolt stop which he convinced me I needed. I received the gun back which was working. I took it shooting and after about 50 rounds at absolute most over the course of a few months, the gun started experiencing the same issues again. I called them to ask why that might be, and rather than just admitting that they didn't do a good job they had the audacity to say "You can only shoot a Mauser C96 5 bullets a year" (which is the equivalent to half a magazine). This is after he sold me a bolt stop, which if it fails can seriously injure the user. Does that mean the bolt stop he sold me is only rated for 5 bullets a year? If so that is downright dangerous. He knows if I wanted my gun to be a wall piece I wouldn't have paid over $500 for maintenance. I found the issue was with the sear spring (a part they produce in house yet didn't replace when it was there) and fixed it myself. The part cost not even $50 including shipping and took me 10 minutes to install it. Even if it fails again, I'm down nowhere near as much money as I would've been taking it to him again. Just work on your guns yourself, or take it to a regular gunsmith. These pistols are not some kind of rocket science that require advanced alien knowledge to maintain, the majority of them are honestly pretty simple internally. Your local gunsmith can file down cams, match mag spring cutouts, and clean your steel pistol just fine.

My first time shopping for a firearm was a bit intimidating, because for a newbie, "guns" are a bit intimidating, but the staff was great. They have tons of handguns, rifles, and shotguns for all levels (affordable and expensive). They offer expert trainings for anyone who has zero experience with guns, and the price is very affordable. They offer additional training for CCW. The facility was recently renovated. All in all, I hope you give them a try. I always appreciate good decent people who show up in good faith to be helpful, and this has been my experience with UHGC. When you meet people who actually care, what more can you ask for. Be safe, practice caution and common sense when buying and using firearms. Good luck to everyone.

The owners are professional and courteous , good people. However, after becoming a member, my experience changed significantly. I found that many basic activities and services incur additional fees, which were not clearly communicated upfront. Charges for actions such as drawing from a holster , even for a concealed carry permit holder already certified by the state and assistance with equipment purchased on-site, such as red dot alignment, created the impression that nearly every interaction comes at an extra cost. My primary concern involves ROC Training. While the instructors themselves are knowledgeable and capable, the overall structure feels excessively focused on generating additional revenue. During classes, there are frequent attempts at upselling, including solicitations from insurance representatives during breaks. Furthermore, certain courses such as those related to concealed carry in constitutional carry states do not appear sufficient on their own, requiring attendees to enroll in additional classes at further expense in order to meet application requirements. This lack of clarity and continuity can be frustrating for participants. Ultimately, I chose to cancel my membership due to these concerns. In my view, the overall experience reflects a pricing model that prioritizes incremental charges over transparency and member value.
