Their NFA services are also great; I hate dealing with paperwork, but they make it fast and easy. Their engraving services are also the best I've seen the area. I contacted them and asked for authorization to return the stock. They said: they couldn't see the crack; the crack wasn't serious; it wasn't cracked when they sent it; they had a photo showing it wasn't cracked; they did not insure it when shipping; they would not accept a return; I should try to get Steyr to warranty the broken stock. I contacted my credit card company and told them I had done so. Then they seemed more interested and said: we will send you a return label; we will refund you when we get the stock back; we have a brick-and-mortar store and lots of great reviews. I don't believe any of it. Their customer service is angry and rude. They implied several times that I was trying to cheat them in some way. I said: I will just let my credit card company handle it from here. Then they reported my emails to them asking for a return to Amazon AWS as spam (weird) and left a dishonest review for me on GunBroker. They've had 40 bad reviews on GunBroker since they signed up on July 5, 2016. I've had one (from them) since I signed up on March 12, 2000. I'd recommend never buying anything from them.

Bunker Shop in Chalfont has some slightly better deals for lower end guns, but Clayton's almost always has specials or raffles and plenty of stock. There's a reason why they've been in business so long and if you try a few ranges in the suburbs you'll see why they're the most popular. Staff is always helpful and when they try to sell you on a new firearm they don't make it feel pushy, at least to me. I think their memberships may have gone up slightly since the last time I purchased one a few years ago, but it's still a great deal for a family plan.

Interest was charged from my day of purchase, no bill for the first month was ever received (according to those taking in my mail),and I was also billed twice for late payments on the only bill I received. Is Dick's so hard up for money they need to present customers with such cheezy offers? Suppose so, but they lost me as a customer with this cheezy offer of "future savings" with the Synchrony card. They sold guns and had a hunting lodge. There were compound, recurve and crossbows. The hunting lodge has now been filled with fishing equipment, kayaks, and safes. It has lost its glory. However, you can still buy a hunting or fishing license here. There is a fair selection of fishing stuff. Most kayaks are pelican brand. There is a golf section which I've never seen anyone in. There are bikes in the back, and exercise equipment which kids play on. There has been an increase in sporting apparel offerings, as well as shoes. Prices are retail. You might not get a bargain on anything unless you have a coupon in the mail, for which you need to hand over some personal information.
