Anyways, despite the fact that this place is imminently closing (I believe on February 12), everyone was very helpful, service was fast, there wasn't much of a line. I'm not really sure what else you're expecting from a relatively small branch - this probably isn't the place you'd go if you need to set up a mortgage or something. It's really somewhere you stop by because you need to deposit a check or something and you also have another errand to run in Pacific Commons. Hours are kind of bad though - closes super early on Saturday, which is presumably when most people are running errands at Pacific Commons. Realistically, you'd actually stop by here if you were stopping by Pacific Commons for a weekday lunch. I believe the nearest Chase will now be somewhere on Mission, so good luck during rush hour when everyone floods it and you're jammed up with cars trying to get between the 880 and 680! Not going to be pretty!

I was looking for a counter that was on the left side, hidden. A person working in the cube saw me and turned his face away. Ok, no worries. Then I found the main counter area, and there she was, Ms. Nasifa, who greeted me with a smile. Sometimes that's all that matters to receive positive energy and a smile. She helped me with cash, and she said it's a beautiful day today. Reminds me of my favorite movie dialogue. "Today is a good day." Each of us represents our workplace, whether you are at home or not. I had a bad experience at one Wells Fargo (I won't name it) and really thought about dropping the…read morebank completely but then I found this location and it's been my #1 for over 10 years. What makes them great? 1) Everyone has a great attitude AND they are professional. The employees don't avoid customers if it's busy. They always greet and tell you if they can or can't meet with you yet. 2) I know it's best to set an appointment but the times I didn't (sorry!) I've never been shooed away and the employees have never been rude about it. For wire transfers they have always been able to accommodate me after a short wait. 3) Their service is consistent. I've been here a lot and there's never a 'bad' day. I know I can count on their service even if my issue isn't resolved same day. My family and I have had major life events happen where we leaned on this branch: purchases/sale of homes, opening our kid's first account, and now death of a family member. Some things were quick and some were a process but it's always been a pleasure dealing with this branch during these benchmark moments in our lives. Now that we live in the valley, I still make the 1+ drive here because I don't want to deal with any potential headaches and I trust their service. Good job Warm Springs branch! I hope your team gets the recognition it deserves.

I used to visit this branch weekly as a business customer when I worked in the area…read more I saw the same couple of tellers each week, and they were never particularly friendly, but I tried to ignore this. I know working with the general public is often no picnic, and I sympathize, as I used to work in the service industry. One day I went to make my business deposit as usual. The bank's policy is if you're depositing cash, you must present ID. When I got to the bank I discovered I had accidentally forgotten my ID at home that morning. Given that these tellers knew who I was - they saw me every single week for eight months straight, and had seen my ID on many previous occasions - I assumed they would be willing to make a one-time exception. I completely understand wanting to verify identity, but when you already know who the person is, it's a different matter. Nonetheless, they flatly and unapologetically told me they could not process the deposit. Even after I showed them my work-issued photo ID, and even after I informed them I have my personal accounts at Wells Fargo, and they could ask me security questions to verify my identity. Nope. Just terse refusal. It was like running into a brick wall. I understand the policy is in place for a reason, but under the circumstances, their completely inflexible approach defied common sense and lacked discernment, not to mention good customer service. I no longer work in the area and therefore have no further need to visit this branch. The staff needs better training on handling what should have been an easily-resolvable issue with more discernment and courtesy. Let's strive to make life easier for one another, not more difficult.

Whenever I speak to a banker, which is very seldom, they always try to sell me on transferring money into a higher yielding savings account. The higher yield is only a tenth of a percent higher. On my most recent encounter they explained to me that I wasn't earning any interest on my savings. Silly me, I hadn't been watching Wells Fargo rates. So I transferred most of my savings out to Chase Bank, where I am earning a higher interest rate, If it wasn't for the convenience, I wouldn't bank there. But the ATM machine at the San Felipe location is made for midgets under 4 feet 6 inches tall. And I strain my back every time I bend over to see the screen. Or usually I have to kneel in front of the ATM machine, because the only ATM at that location is designed for handicapped people in wheel chairs or extremely short dwarf people. However, when I walked around the corner to step in line I saw 12 people in front of me and as I left there was an even longer line. When, I arrived there were 3 people working, but sortly 2 and then 1 with still 8 or so people before me in line. We were told everyone was on "lunch" this was over an hr past their "lunch" hour. Bank of America has the worst staffing in general, so if you are going to let your employees take a lunch whenever don't display "lunch hours" when they are not accurate. Many people in line were angry and complaining, because not only myself but others attempt to go to a bank when they know there are people in fact working. I doubt anyone in the line would have been there knowing the "lunch whenever we want" policy. I get it, banks are busy, they are understaffed, but this has to be sorted out (nationwide) if you want to maintain your customers.
