And when you subtract out the unlicensed, uninsured people from your list your choices are minimal. I wanted to replace our thermostat after a slight remodel. The old one was dingy and couldn't be salvaged. While we were at it we decided to add WiFi connectivity beacuse, well we don't really have a true need for that but since a thermostat was only a few dollars more i figured, why not. After examining the current thermostat and the wiring at the HVAC unit i was convinced the the job was beyond my skill level. Having seen Soundview shop every day on the way to the gym an knowing a couple of them work out in the same gym, I thought I'd give the local team a shot. They said they would send someone by to look at the job to give an estimate. The estimator cam by and looked and tinkered with the system for about 45 minutes. in the end he said my control panel wasn't compatible with new generation thermostats. This wasn't hard to believe, we know that the builder relied on a lot of "closeout specials" when building the house 20 years ago. He also mentioned that we may need a new damper. He stated he didn't have the control panel on the truck but he would go back to the office and have them contact me with a quote for the work. He gave me a ballpark but said they office would need to validate once the sourced the exact parts. I agreed and indicated I would wat for the quote even asking how long the job would take. I paid the service call fee on the spot and thanked the technician. Well it's been over a month and I'm still waiting for a callback with a quote (not really anymore). maybe I have a unique facial tick that coincidently tells people to "ignore this man. In the interceding time I've been able to call someone ese have the work done and get on with my life. So much for the local team...

I eventually had them replace my aging ac and heating systems. Today I had a thermostat problem and they were able to service the problem immediately. Like I said, nothing but positive experiences! I find it worth it to have a service contract with them, quick compete service is valuable to me!

Ronnie came and replaced the triple aquastat and zone valve. since he finished, my heat and hot water has not been the same. he returned once, but did not attempt to fix the problem. i paid over $900 and will now have to call another company to fix my issue. I signed up for a yearly contact on 4/3/2024 and cancelled on 4/92094. I would not recomment this company.

We had a very shaky toilet that another plumber "fixed" 5 months prior. Mike got down to the bottom of the problem and gave me updates on what he was finding every step of the way. There were some major issues that needed to be fixed and Mike did not take any shortcuts, he was very transparent from start to finish. Our flange was rotted and Mike removed the broken flange put in a new flange set in concrete. He put in a new toilet and sealed it with silicone. We were charged $145 and hour + the price of supplies. It was worth every cent to know that everything was done properly this time around.
