I was in Worcester for work , this place was walking distance , I walked in there and it was 100deg inside . You can dine there but get ready to sweat . I ordered a cheeseburger grinder with Lettuce Tomato and Mayo . I waited maybe 10 minutes. Paid my bill and walked back to work . 1st I was a little disappointed in the size ? Maybe 12" cut in half, I'm use to 16" grinders back home . It was. Little cheaper so ok , well it was SO good ! Besides the LTM , he put a little sweet catchup on it ? Maybe ? Small place on highland st. I always go here for the hamburger grinder. Probably my favorite one in Worcester. It's cheap and done quickly, the guy who owns the place is super friendly and nonchalant. I can't speak for their actual pizzas, but from what Ive heard, they're average. I haven't eaten here since I was a kid when I lived down the street. I was back visiting my parents, who still live in the area and stopped by with my family. The guy behind the counter was great and made our pizzas and subs superbly. It brought me back to when I was younger and would get my own small pizza. Delicious. This pizza place does a great job a feeding college kids cheap greasy pizza and subs. I got one of the best subs I have ever had at this location, I still remember how good it was today. When you can get a delivered pizza for about the same money and time as a frozen pizza, it's worth it in my opinion. Ordered a cheese pizza today. It was as the other re-viewer's have described very greasy but for 8 bucks it was pretty decent. I also agree that the crust lacked something. I'd actually prefer to give it s 3.5 rating for the type of pizza it is - whenever we get pizza from this place, it reminds me of when we used to have sandwiches made out of Wonder Bread as kids. The crust is bland and almost tasteless. But it is easy to bite into and to eat quite a few pieces especially since the dough is not heavy as most standard pizzas. Tech pizza is in its own category of 'cheap eats' -- my husband and I stop in about once a month, usually order the onion & green pepper, sometimes with sausage. It may be cheap, with daily $4 specials, but the pizza is terrible. Not worth it in my opinion. It's not as bad as pizza hut or something, but the crust isn't chewy or crispy at all -- it's sort of crunchy and crumbly, like dry bread. The large pizzas aren't that big. Paul is a shining example of how to run a small business. This place is completely run by him, occasionally he will have a helper, but he is there cooking and manning the phones from lunch time until the wee hours. My favorite menu item is the roast beef sub, but the sides are all good, and the pizza is a great value. It is Greek style pizza, so if you don't like that then don't order it...
