I brought the phone into the store on Labor Day, was greeted by Robert who confirmed the on line price quote to be valid. He said the phone would require 3 days for the repair as 1) it needed to have the charging port soldered and since it was labor day, and the technician who does that part of the repair was not available, work would not begin until next business day. Robert did say he would try. To my complete surprise the phone was ready in two days. Robert emailed me and also left a message for me on my land line. When discussing the phone repair on this phone and chatting about some other repairs I need done on other equipment, what I especially liked about Robert is that he said 'if I can't fix it, I will tell you'. I liked everything about doing business with Sheepshead Bay Wireless and oh... I did not mention... The price was very reasonable and before coming to SHBW I had been to two other shops where they told me they would not do the repair needed. They said the phone was to old to change the charging port and tried to move me in the direction of purchasing a new phone. Robert did not even lean toward that route. He said he could fix it and he did.

I took pictures all morning and the entire month with the cracked lens and NO smudge on my camera. If there was a smudge, I would've immediately got it taken care of quick. We argued back and forth, basically I paid for the cracked lens and I will have to PAY AGAIN $150 to get the camera part fixed. This SMUDGE was created by their employee when he was working on my lens. I asked if they can just redo it, clean it up or check. NOPE. $150 new camera or zoom in to .9x every time to avoid the smudge (JOKE) or go somewhere else. No accountability and it was either pay to get fix or leave. They blamed ME for having the smudge me. Please check other places first and see their options/process. Also please read negative reviews first as well. SO furious and scam artists. The colors were off and looked terrible, and it had a chin at the bottom. I went back and paid $250 for a proper oled iPhone screen. I was happy with it. I even went back to him weeks later for a screen protector. Everything looked and worked great for 3 months until it didn't. The screen started to glitch when I set it to full brightness then it started to flash and glitch with any movement. Finally my screen just failed. An ideal place would at least have a 90-day warranty or at least try to fix it, especially for a returning customer. He definitely recognized me because I was there 3 times within the past 3 months. Who would want to come back 3 times anyways? He had no intention whatsoever to help me. I asked if he could just check on the screen but he didn't bother answering any questions or concerns. Instead he was rude and I, the customer, had to ask "So how can we fix this?" He wanted $250 AGAIN to make me pay for a new screen. Why would I do that if the first one completely failed? Fool me once. Tuh! He just lost a loyal customer and I cannot recommend this place. You will feel regretful. Just go to the Apple Store so you won't lose out on your money.

Came in around noon on Thursday to repair a 1st Generation iPad mini and was told the repair wouldn't be done in an hour but until the next day. I accepted. The next day(Friday) I never got a call about it being ready. I went back Saturday around noon to be told it still wasn't repaired. When I asked for it back to go elsewhere, my iPad mini wasn't in the store to get it back. SOL. The red haired girl told me to come back later the evening when Jesse gets in.She then called me later that evening to let me know it was ready. Once I got there I explained nicely to the other worker Jesse how I was inconvenienced by two days for an hour repair. Jesse said he can only compensate me with an apology and that he was swamped with devices. He also stated that I should've stressed to the red haired girl why I needed the iPad ready by the following day. By then, I told him I am not paying him $80 for his issues but I'll pay him $60. He got upset picked up my money that I placed on the counter along with a phone and attempted to throw it at me. I asked him to please let me out of the store which he was hesitant about. For the terrible service and attempt to lock me in the store, I still paid them $70. Don't even come here if you're desperate. Spend your money elsewhere.

Cyber on U was the first store. Max was in constant communication. The change out was done in under 5 minutes. Max even showed me that I have space to add a hard drive. The price was also good. Again, everything was working like normal and the screen was just cracked..that's all. The ipad was brought in for repair on a dead battery because I forgot to charge it. I get a call from the guy here who said the ipad was charged up and the crack actually caused a black spot on the screen. If I wanted this fixed it's an extra $75. I told him I played with the ipad numerous times after it fell and there was no black spot. He stayed quiet. He probably thought I never saw the screen after it fell...not the case. I told him no, dont fix it and I'll see what he's talking about when I pick it up. Went the next day to pick up and saw the round black spot. I told him this was not there when it fell. Again, he said nothing. I told him how did the black spot appear and he said from the drop. Um, no thats not the case and I told him this wasn't there. Again, he said nothing. Once I got home my husband was very upset and called the location. He spoke to the guy and told him this was a crappy job he did and asked how the spot appeared. He actually told my husband the spot got worse after he opened the ipad to fix it. Clearly the spot appeared after you attempted to fix the glass. Why should we pay to fix your mistake????!!!! He never offered to fix his mess. What kind of customer service do you provide? None apparently. We actually thought bringing my device here was a mistake and we shouldve went to kings plaza mall and had the kiosk people fix it or even my neighborhood guy who does good work with apple products.
