We were walking over to CVS. In this little shopping area and saw this new tea spot called Teaspoon ! Really cute trendy, fun space with delectable tea infused delights. We had one of their pineapple shines and the passionfruit tea They were so delicious so flavorful I am obsessed with this place and I am going to come back and have one of each every single week .. The girls behind the counter are so friendly and so sweet ... You can't help but to tip them just for their smiles . We highly highly recommend this little tea café ... Plenty of parking and dog friendly .

Extra points for the straws not being plastic they are bamboo!! Ellie was so FAST and so nice! Decor and music was great. Was clean and it just happened to get her on a Tuesday! So they had to buy one get one free which was freaking awesome! It was gonna be like 15 bucks and ended up being seven dollars! So this is definitely going to be my new spot when I come over here to the shopping center! I really enjoyed that while she was making the coffee she even asked me which milk I wanted- rather than some places they'll just make it because we didn't specify. So she does a really great job and she was here by herself. This seems like a really nice place to just sit as well with friends. I'm sure it's probably super busy during this summer! Absolutely beautiful! I got the passionfruit tea and the Matcha and she made it hot for me! I added Boba to the passionfruit one everything was very good

Came here and got a Vietnamese coffee to go. I noticed black stuff floating around and assumed it was Oreo, but I asked the worker and she said it was coffee grounds. But she said it so casually like it wasn't a problem. If this wasn't my morning coffee I would have thrown it away. so bitter it was almost undrinkable!

Brought my daughter here yesterday after our 8 mile walk - made her work for her drink! First visit but won't be the last. So glad to have a bubble tea shop in Dana Point! Staff were super friendly. Fun little tea shop not far from the beach. It was quiet but had a great vibe. My daughter absolutely loved her caramel cream and is ready for another walk for another round. I sampled the coffee cake while waiting as well as the hot creamy jasmine - both amazing! We'll be back!

Well, this is really kind of sad. I've been a regular customer here for quite some time and on Tuesdays they offer a Bogo and today the girl told me that it's only good up until 6 PM but nowhere on the sign didn't mention that so I took a picture of the sign and I showed her she says I'm sorry my manager said that it's 6 PM and it's on Instagram that doesn't help the customer that walking in the store that sees a sign that wants to get a Bogo Because it's on Instagram anyway I said thanks but no thanks and they would rather lose a customer and have a bad review that's entirely on them. In today's economy you would think you'd bend over backwards to take care of your customers, but not at this establishment. Sad to see. The girl walked out with a pen and wrote on the BOGO sign good until 6pm after I walked it. Too funny.

Yesterday, my family & I visited this location to order to go, after a funeral. On the Door it says they close at 10, we checked the time before going in & it was 8. When my family walks in, the 2 workers looked at each other weird & the one in the pink proceeded to lift her phone up to record or take pics of my family. We had literally just walked in & looked at the menu, we didn't even get to talk to the workers yet. I took this video right after I noticed she was recording/taking pics. If you don't want to work in customer service, don't work at a boba shop. She should be fired because why record customers unprovoked, without their consent & make them feel uncomfortable? I wonder how many other people she's done this to who were unaware. These 2 are beyond unprofessional and if you ever see them working, I recommend taking your business to another boba shop. The screenshot is of when they were looking at each other weird before she put her phone down, at the beginning of my video. She only put her phone down because I started recording her too & kept looking back at them. They stopped giving each other looks after they saw that I noticed what they were doing. So weird and unprofessional.

Lychee Black Tea with fruit jelly topping

Underwhelmed with the Lychee black tea - it was watered down. I also ordered it with one of the fruit jellies (I think it was mango) and my bf ordered one with the strawberry. We were unable to suck the jellies through the boba straw so it was a struggle actually consuming it. The store itself had a nice clean vibe - a good place to do work. There was WiFi an outlet available and plenty of seating. The staff were alright. I'll have to try a milk drink next time!

This one sounds like a decadent chocolatey treat with mocha flavors. I am not a huge coffee fan but wanted to try the mushroom blend and the chocolate protein that comes in this one. The coffee flavor is quite strong and there is a significant punch of caffeine so if you need something to wake you up the get this. My favorite part was the chocolate drizzle on top. The smoothie itself was very icy. I got multiple chunks of ice as I was scooping through the bowl. I am not sure if that is a one off occurrence or because of the nature of the ingredients. WOULD I GO BACK? Yes but I would get one of the fruitier bowls rather than this one.

I love custard so ordered 2 custard rolls. I'm used to the French versions so I have to say, do not expect the same. The dough is the same for everything here, it's a light slightly sweet sponge cake. Not chewy not dry. The custard was warm and I was not expecting that, I was expecting chilled. Not rich and not pudding but a different type of custard. The cinnamon roll same dough they just added the cinnamon and wound ot up instead of filled with custard. Topped with a little bit of icing, not frosting and not drizzle but icing. The service are just young kids and typical mumbles who don't look at you and since this was my first time here it was very difficult to get them to explain the items they just wanted your order and process the payment!!! All in all, not what I expected at all, but it's a Japanese bakery so was open to try. It's clean and cute and pretty tasty not too sweet! I would like to try the strawberry delights next!

While I haven't tried any of the drinks yet, which seem pretty healthy too, I did get to enjoy their Classic Toast - which is basically avocados, microgreens, crushed black pepper, and a balsamic reduction on a slice of long-fermented sourdough bread, for $11.50 - outside at one of the tables nearby, and it was a great experience for my physical and, by extension, mental health, due to the former directly affecting the latter. The staff were very attentive, courteous, professional, and inviting, which I appreciated since good food tastes better when it's presented by nice people. The vibe was almost cult-like in the sense that there were a lot of people there that seemed like they're always there and the establishment is a big part of their daily lives. They also had a nicely curated selection of foods like chocolate bars, dried mangoes, olive oil, etc., for people to purchase for their households, which was pretty neat. Overall, a nice spot in Dana Point for a dose of healthy goodness!

Niguel Bakery & Donuts isn't just a place we eat -- it's where our kids grew up…read more Let me get the obvious out of the way first: yes, the donuts are legit. Our go-to favorites are the chocolate cronut (dangerous), the glazed old fashioned, and their cake donuts -- the kind that remind you why donuts were invented in the first place. But here's what most people don't realize... The deli is a hidden gem. My wife's favorite is their American Mexi-Cal style breakfast burrito -- and for good reason. Huge, insanely good value, big crispy buttery potatoes, soft chewy tortillas, and a portion size that laughs at inflation. I recently had their Boar's Head deli-sliced ham and cheese on sourdough with lettuce, tomatoes, and pickles, and I genuinely don't have the vocabulary to describe how soft and perfect that sandwich was. It's not "good for a donut shop." It's just really good. But honestly? The food is only part of why this place matters to us. Our kids practically grew up here. Dave and Dani have known our family since before our kids were even born. They've seen both of our children grow -- literally from in the womb, to infants, to toddlers, and now our kids are 2 and 7 years old. We'll be posting photos through the years because... yeah, this place is part of our family history. That's not something you can fake. This is one of those rare neighborhood spots where you sit for hours in the morning, coffee in hand, talking with locals, laughing, and catching up. It's where the community actually feels like a community. The owners, Dave and Dani, are some of the kindest, most genuine people you'll ever meet. Dave is basically a big kid himself (especially when it comes to cars) and somehow always finds ways to surprise my kids with random little toys -- the kind of moments kids remember forever. I grew up in a small town in Virginia, out of my own mom's deli and convenience store -- where locals gathered over coffee, the Washington Post (and yes... cigarettes back then ). Living on the West Coast without family nearby, Niguel Bakery & Donuts gives me that same feeling of home. This is a place where kids can still feel safe like the old days -- riding bikes with friends, scraping together change for a snack... and if they're a little short and have been on their best behavior, Dave and Dani might just take care of them anyway. That kind of generosity can't be taught -- it's who they are. It's an East Coast bodega-style bakery/deli, right here in Laguna Niguel, and they don't just talk about community -- they show it through the countless non-profit events, food donations, and local causes they support. If you're looking for more than just donuts -- if you want great food, real people, and a place that feels like home -- this is it. We'll be here tomorrow morning. And the next day. And probably for years to come.
