While the selections are good; I find them to be on the sweeter side even after adjusting sweetness to be 25% or below. The store is small, cute, clean. Staff is friendly and smiling. The order took no time to make. I ordered a Guava Sunset with 25% sweetness during my most recent visit which was refreshing yet still too sweet for me. I'd order again and go down to 10% sweetness. Drinks first, thoughts after... Teaspoon is conveniently located next to the great ono poke and taco mama. They offer various drinks and overall they are decent. The boba I will say are really good. The perfect texture and sweetness. The tea is not too strong. I am a tea person and this place is more sweet drinks. I always get 10-25% sweetness and even then the ratio is surprising. If I am at the summit and think boba is a good idea, sure I'll grab one from teaspoon, but I would not go out of my way. read more

The service was awesome! We had lots of questions because it was our first time. They even had a few samples available. The black sugar is bitter at first, but once mixed with the honey boba it is extremely sweet and honey filled. They use honey boba in it. It's good but not my style. When I heard there was a new boba place, I had to check it out. It's conveniently located in the Summit shopping center. For a reference point, it is near the movie theater. The menu was clear and ordering was easy. The drink I ordered was mango and I got it with Tajin added. I also added mango popping boba. Teaspoon is a cool new bubble tea cafe located in The Summit. It is located towards the back, just past the movie theater, between Real & Rosemary and Taco Mama. The cafe has a cool vibe without going overboard. The store front is crisp and clean with tables sitting opposite the kitchen area. You'll find a menu board on your left but you may want to visit the website and sign up for rewards beforehand because they have a lot of options. They are currently giving samples of Guava Sunrise and their house milk tea. Both are delicious. If you come early enough you will find the display case filled with a variety of cakes, marshmallow rice treats, brownies, and delicious macarons. When I arrived I was greeted warmly and had to wait in a short line. I was offered samples of the above mentioned drinks but I already had my mind made up. I wanted the Strawberry Colada with peach boba. The gentlemen behind the counter helped me set up my rewards account and offered help in creating my own drink if I wanted. I waited next to the pick up area and watched as the crew created my drink. Once finished, I was presented with my drink, napkins, and a biodegradable bamboo boba straw. I took my drink to go. As soon as I reached my car, I pierced the film and took a drink. This drink was absolutely delicious. I can not wait to go back and try all the other flavors. The only reason Teaspoons doesn't get 5 stars is the fact that the display case was completely empty 5 hours before closing time. Maybe they had a rush or just misjudged how many items they needed. Checked out the new boba spot and was very pleased! First off the vibe is very cool. Trendy without being overly modern. They were very well staffed and even though we stood in line, it moved very quickly. There's a menu of drinks that are pre designed. Lots to choose from and a wide variety! You can also build your own. I do wish that menu was somewhere other than the register because I didn't get a chance to look because I felt like I needed to order quickly. The staff was so sweet to my kid and even offered him a few popping strawberry boba. We really liked our drinks. Hubs said the honey boba was good but very sweet. My matcha was the best matcha I've ever had. Super creamy and smooth. I gave it four stars because it is pricey and I don't feel like it was that much better than other boba spots. With tip ours was over $20. Definitely a place I'll visit again but it'll be a fun treat. read more

I want to like teaspoon but their boba is not it. The only consistent drink I can almost always rely on being okay is the house milk tea, but even that is mediocre. I've tried the other drinks before and there is never a good balance. Especially their black tea asam...my god that is nasty. It's straight up sugar in your mouth and then super bitter. I always get a Thai tea in fancy boba places like this. It only took about 5 minutes to get my order. The atmosphere was hip, but the inside is very small. There is usually a crowd here, but maybe because we t's new. The tea was good, but it was super sweet! I couldn't drink it all because it was too much. My friend ordered a drink as well, and she said the same thing. She said hers would have made a great base for a rum drink. I am a super fan of boba but I have to say I am a little bit disappointed and just getting upset every time after I come to teaspoon. You can tell the management there is different from the other teaspoon. One time I have seen the employees there took short cut cleaning (not covering the toppings and just spray whatever detergent they use to clean the table and the edge of the topping container when the store is about the close. sure the toppings are super " clean" after that), while the "manager" was actually there just chatting around. This time they put the wrong topping in the drink and they just want to take the toppings out and give me back the same drink. I am paying close to $9 for each drink and I am just getting a milky drink with this taste of sourness from the jelly syrup? I have to ask two times to actually convince them to make me a correct drink, while other boba store won't even hesitate to make u a new drink. read more

I have always been a boba tea lover and was super excited about this place. The ambiance was nice and the staff was fine at first. I ordered the black sugar Assam. The packaging of the tea was cute, but when I tasted it, it was weirdly bitter and I couldn't even drink it. I headed back in and told one of the staff members that it was undrinkable, and they responded that it was just the taste of the product. All the employees surrounded us at that point, and stared blankly at me. I asked if they could do anything, as there is no way that it was just the "tea" itself. They rudely said no. I got the black sugar assam and honestly it was pretty subpar. The shop itself was cute, but the staff was a different story. The cashier was wonderful to the people in front of us in line, and to the people behind us, but she was incredibly rude to us when we were at the register. She got snappy at my fiancé for asking a simple menu question, and was curt and visibly annoyed for the remainder of the interaction. We're usually pretty out of place at most shops at the Summit, and I don't like to make assumptions, but she was bubbly and friendly to everyone in the store but us.
