She had mentioned that I was bothered by a fallen arch, and he was kind enough to offer a consultation after one of her sessions. What impressed me most about our meeting was how up front he was. He spoke frankly about the nature of my injury, and was clearly not interested in offering false hope or locking me into a treatment package. As a weekend warrior I was curious to see how both his Active Release Therapy and chiropractic services could help not only my injury, but also my overall well being. Having received treatment from Dr. Brian on a consistent basis for over a year, I am comfortable recommending his services to anyone wanting to experience optimal physical health. I very much look forward to our sessions, and always leave his office feeling rejuvenated. He is far more thorough than any other chiropractor I have dealt with, and actually concerned with my individual ailments. There are certain techniques he uses, i.e. his method of adjusting the hips, that I feel are a great deal more effective than the traditional approach. Combine that with A.R.T. and you get an experience that truly feels all-encompassing. No "crack 'em, wack 'em, and send 'em on their way" schemes at Elite Performance institute. I will close by saying Dr. Brian is an extremely knowledgeable and passionate individual, and I found his positive attitude to be contagious. I wish that all healers would approach their craft with a similar mindset.

But they were deducted from my bank account. I then payed my co-payments for the first 2/3 weeks with a service called Instamed, which is the only way ATI can be payed with a Credit Card. Instamed is owned by ATI. Several months later the payment still wasn't shown on statment. So, I sent my email receipt to ATI via USPS mail. They just ignored it and sent a new statement. Meanwhile, they didn't find my ACH payments. The finance department has no respect for clients. What does the therapy have for them. I write about that separately. You can't talk to the finance department directly. They have to call you back or I got the person at the central phone line to give me an email address to send my receipts to finance. The BBB has a complaint on how ATI handles payments. Their statements don't have line items for payments made by ACH and Credit cards through Instamed, so you can't make the correct payment. Try getting your money back or talk to them for 2+ hours on phone as the BBB complaint states. The U of Illinois School of medicine recommends Athletico. I noticed they have stairs to train on, but they were farther away.

Its been a week since I started treatment at Advanced Physicians. I wanted to give it some time and…read morethought so I might write a meaningful review. Previously I received my health "care" through the VA Healthcare System. After a week at Advanced Physicians I now know what real health care is. Sadly, the VA only been providing me health "monitoring" at best over the past 15 yrs. If I pushed things, the VA provided me with useless pain meds. That was it. I have suffered from chronic lower back pain (stenosis) for over 2 years. It limited my ability to move around. My back and body became tightened. I then developed severe mid back pain about 4 months ago on top of that. Apparently, I have a cyst in my spine pressing on a nerve. The pain kept me up at night. I needed help to get out of bed. I was no longer able to bathe myself adequately. I had to ease myself into the bathtub with help for baths. Over time, my mind went to a dark place. I began to feel hopeless and helpless. Fortunately for me, the VA was unable to offer me pain treatment in their pain management clinic. So, They referred me to Advanced Physicians in Crest Hill and I now also receive treatments in their Aurora Center- in my hometown, locally. Instead of receiving useless pain medication that only left me groggy (and still in severe pain), I now get REAL treatment for my pain from Advanced Physicians. No meds! Instead, I was thoughtfully evaluated by their Doctors and we developed a plan for treatment that I can say, with certainty... is working. What a blessing! So far I have gotten massages to loosen up my rock hard tight spine. I've received IFC (stimulation), chiropractic adjustments, heat and cold treatment and have started basic flexibility exercises. For the first time in months I can stand in the shower! I feel strong enough, stable on my feet and most importantly, I can now take showers again, independently, standing up and feeling safe. Its only been a week, but there are so many more "simple" improvements to my pain relief, increased flexibility and strength that I could go on and on about these positive changes to my physical strength, mobility and health. But I will sum it up simply by saying, Advanced Physicians have helped me regain "hope", when I used to feel life was hopeless. Where I used to just isolate myself in my room or in bed- I'm now beginning to imagine doing many of the things I used to once enjoy. I know it may be a while until I see more permanent and long lasting changes. Beyond a doubt, Advanced Physicians has provided me the BEST healthcare "treatments" I've received in over 8 yrs. They didn't just ask me questions and prescribed me pills. Instead, they actually put their hands on my spine and back, watched my stance, posture and gait. And in doing so, THEY were able to understand my pain and difficulties. They could see it and feel it with THEIR hands. A lost art? Perhaps this is what seems to be missing in healthcare today? Question can be informative, but the feeling of touch- bumps, tightness, swelling, stiffness. These things can tell my story better than my words. I had previously served 12 yrs in the US Army as a medical sergeant in the Rangers, Paratroopers and Special Forces in the 1980s and 90s. I am now considered 100% disabled. I have the ability to tolerate a great deal of pain. But should I really need to still suffer 25+ years after the end of my service? I believed I was provided adequate healthcare by the VA. Now I realize that sadly, its just been VA health "monitoring" not real health "care". I'm so grateful for being a patient now at Advanced Physicians. I feel better. At age 55, I had started to feel my life was just about over. Its a bit overwhelming to be able to do basic activities in my home that I have not been able to do for months. But perhaps the most important thing that I have regained through see the Doctors at Advanced Physician, is they have given me back real hope. Thank you.

Our son just received his first quarter kindergarten report card, and…read morehe's "mastered being able to communicate in complete sentences" they say, and he's "progressing very well with his final /r/ and r and l blends". My son has come a very long way, and if you're a parent or caregiver, I highly recommend hiring Kristen from BDI. Since we only see Kristen, I cannot vouch for all employees at BDI, but if you're lucky enough to have her, you'll be amazed at her skills. Kristen is young, but we've seen three SLP's over the years, and she's the best at what she does! She's so great at zoom, and is a master with rolling with the punches and adapting to my son's special needs and his attention span... At first, my son wouldn't sit still for his zoom sessions. It was quite agitating and frankly depressing that it appeared as though zoom wouldn't work. But, Kristen happily twirled his attention back to her like she's been a mother for a dozen years. Now, he sits still, is happy and is having fun when he's being taught by her. But this wouldn't be possible if it weren't for Kristen thinking on her feet... "Coeur, would you like to participate in the session or run around the table 3 times?" Letting him run around for 1 minute did the trick, then he came back to the session excited. "Coeur, let's put your arms out and fly like an airplane." That would get him to stop talking or fidgeting and pay attention while having fun. Lots of stuff like that. Then, Kristen came up with the brilliant idea to offer him a reward if he completed the lessons. And, she'd even find the specific reward that I would give him (toy, etc), copy it from the Internet/Amazon, then show him the reward on the screen if his attention started to wander. Works like a charm. I don't think they teach all of her skills at BDI; they must be natural abilities from her maturity and intelligence. However, if indeed she did get trained with all her great ideas, then Kristen for sure has mastered those skills, and kudos to BDI. She seems like she's been doing this forever and has polished experience! Try to get her for your son or daughter or grandson or granddaughter. And don't be afraid of zoom sessions with Kristen, even if you're from out of town. She's young, vibrant, high IQ, and tons of experience. She's also a very happy person that has a perma-smile; she's so nice, and my son loves her! Thank you BDI for employing such an awesome person!
