Had them come out and drywall my garage. Fast communications and easy to coordinate with my insulation contractor. They first came out to demo, then came back afterwards to drywall. They identified some electrical boxes that had been buried by insulation company and let me know. Only thing I realized afterwards is drywall is a messy job even though they covered floors there's still drywall dust so be prepared to clean after. read more

Watch out for the fine print in the contract. Mine stated he had 40 days to finish the work, fortunately it didn't take quite that long. It also stated that he didn't have to sheet rock around the "tub/shower" which I took to mean the tub/shower combo on the main level and at the end of the project he explained that it meant ALL of the tubs and showers. Of course this left me hanging with one bathtub lacking sheet rock, unless of course I was willing to pony up more money to have it done. After paying $250 to have sheet rock added around a door opening that was shrunk 6 inches, I'm opting to have the tub sheet rock done by someone else. I thought a little flexibility on his part would be in order on a $19,000 + sheet rock contract. read more

We hired Teak Drywall to handle a significant amount of patching that we needed performed after a heat pump installation. Every room in our house had holes that needed to be patched as well as a ceiling that was lowered. I am a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to construction work and I have a hard time being satisfied these days with contractors. Teak Drywall was a welcome surprise. Teak was responsive right off the bat and quick to visit and provide an estimate. His price wasn't the lowest bid I received but he instilled the most confidence and was a professional. In the end, his work was worth every penny. He addressed all of my questions and concerns. He communicated really well throughout the process including sending a text prior to visiting each work day to remind us of his plan. Polo, his foreman, was very courteous and conscientious. I was concerned about dust and they went above and beyond to provide protection both on the floors and also to erect dust curtains during the sanding process. I hired Teak Drywall to repair water damaged drywall on the wall and ceiling of my downstairs bath. I had several leaks from the upstairs bathroom resulting in torn out drywall. I originally hired a plumber who also had a drywall guy. After the plumber finished the drywaller patched, but it was a super shoddy job. That drywall guy was fired by the plumber and I fired the plumber when he never contacted me to finish the first patch and do the second patch. After months of having the hole in my ceiling and a horrid patch job, I called Teak Drywall to repair the hole and to finish the patch work. Teak was super responsive, we scheduled the repair for a few days later and I was told it would be a 2 day job. Worker came out and he did it all in a day. And boy was I impressed! I expected that because of the horrid job done with the first patch job by the previous company that I would at least be able to see a shadow of a seam. But there is nothing.
