I eventually decided to use Diamond Shine for several reasons - Jake lives locally (Angier), so I knew he'd do a job he and I would both be proud of, his pricing was competitive, his set-up impressed me with its cleanliness, he was professional in dress and demeanor, and he is a Veteran. I like to support small businesses, especially Veteran-owned.

"High quality pressure wash, responsive, reasonable price"…read more I wrote to these folks via their site on a Saturday asking about getting my siding pressure-washed, and I got a call the same afternoon. They then were able to come out on Monday and give me an estimate. Was $500 for my driveway, sidewalk, and siding all around the house. They did the job in a couple of hours, kept me apprised as it was happening (I was at work, so they texted me photos), and they accept payment via Zelle & Venmo. And the house and driveway/ sidewalk look great! All-in-all, professional, responsive, and reasonable price-- I recommend them!

We had to put the gutter project on hold due to other priorities that popped up but when I reached out again, Josh was quick to respond and update the quote. The 3 person crew came out and did an excellent job installing 6 inch gutters with gutter guards. The team showed up as promised and got to work. They cleaned up after and the new gutters look great. I was able to get in touch with them on my 2nd try, and they tentatively scheduled an appointment for a Tuesday afternoon about month out (on the call, he did not have his appointment book handy to immediately confirm). Two weeks after our initial call, I called to follow up and confirm the date and time. I had to call several times and eventually leave a voicemail, before calling again to hear back to confirm that the date had not changed and we were all set. A week prior, I get a text requesting my address and confirming the date. The day of, I took off from work, sent my children to daycare, and waited....No call, no show. Called, no answer. Sent a text....shortly there after, I get a call back. The long and short of it? They  could not remember which service I was getting "are you looking for window washing?" and "forgot to call me the weekend prior to tell me that they were running behind on other jobs due to rain and would not get there today." As far as when they could get here, he would try "in another day or so" and would give me a call back to let me know when. Life happens. Schedules can be re-arranged, but clear communication is necessary, ESPECIALLY when conducting business. The entire  communication process was more difficult than it needed to be. A week later, I'm STILL waiting on the call back or any kind of update. Needless to say, I won't be using this contractor for anything and if  the quality of their communication is any indication of the services provided, BUYER BEWARE!
