Amazing place the employees are amazing all of them are so helpful and useful if you need something or have a question. It's always so clean and nice inside. Great environment... I'm just going to say when I pay as much as we pay daily for drinks and sometimes 2-3X a day. So to get something that is nasty or not what you ordered and your afraid to take it back due to being talked about is sad. But to take it back 2 or 3X is crazy and still not right. And give people there points it's not hard to ask them if they have a rewards and to put it in... or if they ask then give it to them.... don't be rude and hire more people from the town the stores in. Overall not impressed. Some of the tea that was on display in glass jars were full of mold. Not like little speaks of mold, the entire jar was engulfed in mold. I know they don't sell this but still looks bad to customers. There was also bags of ice laying on the floor. The two teas I got.. don't taste good. But that's not the employees fault. I'm all for kids working. I believe that it instills an early work ethic and keeps them busy during summer. HOWEVER don't hire a bunch of kids and let them run free in your business. I sat in the drive through ordered one drink and watched 4 young kids goofing around instead of doing their jobs. My family and I love this place in Abilene TX. We went to starting in June 2019 and go every time we are in Abilene. My daughter wants one to open in San Angelo Tx now. I would have normally have posted a glowing review but due to my experience today and what I was told I am giving the lowest score I can. I have been told in the past that I can only go light ice on the Superman energy drink and I understand that, but I normally order my unsweetened mint tea with no ice. I have never had a problem with this I was given it that way today but I had to argue to get it that way. If it wasn't an item made as a batch as opposed to individually I wouldn't have a problem with this. In addition there was no signage stating that they had a change to this policy. read more

I don't know who hired the employees here, but they provided hands down the worst service I've ever had in my life. The "manager" is some super snooty girl who does not know what mate is and who was just flat out rude to me when I recommended that she try some. She actually said "I manage a tea store, I'm not going to go and try other teas". Apparently in her mind it is a bad thing to work at a tea shop and actually be knowledgeable about different types of teas. She also tried to foist off some diet teas on me, and as someone who can only purchase clothing from the European and Asian clothing stores as American stores do not carry sizes small enough to fit me, I found her comment to be flat out boorish As far as the actual teas themselves are concerned, the sample of Crisp Apple Strudel they had is quite good, but the pomegranate tea I ordered was ruined by the other boy who was working there today. He filled the cup with ice all the way, poured the tea, then filled it with even more ice. He was extremely rude when I said he did not have to fill it with so much ice and he said "That's how I was trained". The tea is so watered down it literally tastes like sugar water. It is very clear that the current staff does not care about providing quality products to their customers and would rather opt out for the fast and easy way of doing things. He didn't even offer to remake my drink despite my blatant dissatisfaction. I am never going back to this shop. read more

I wanted to give them a chance to improve their quality and consistency. They did not. I wrote to management months ago and explained that I cannot get the same quality product from location to location. I did not receive a response and it apparently fell on deaf ears. They do not follow the same recipe and the worse two locations include 50th street and the "new" one on 82nd. The best with consistent quality is the one located on Quaker and 106th. This place is the worst. I go because it's the closest to my house but no more. I and got like 3 teas and wanted a baby yoda shirt. She told me they were in a pile and dint wanna look at that moment. For me to come back the next day. I was working out of town so I couldn't. My thing is if you have to sell and can. Why say no to the money? That is why you operate a business to make money. They are never very nice here and since all this stuff going on they have become worse. Definitely gonna try a different tea place even if out of range. I was a Pure Water tea person so I wasn't excited about the switch but the tea's are good. Not a fan of the plastic cups due to the amount they sweat and sadly I had a gift card from Pure Water that I was told they wouldn't accept so I'm left hanging with money on a card I can't use. read more

Was just in there and witnessed the manager visit with a very sick lady who told the manager she was sick. She then asked if she would like a sniff of raw ingredients and proceeded to breath all over the container of other ingredients that was put back for future made teas. I'm no health specialists, but very poor management was used by the manager. Pure Tea gets my vote!!! read more

I don't even think they deserve a rating. Ever since they bought out pure water.... I have had nothing but the worst service ever!!!!!! I tried my hardest to over look all of the bad service I have gotten there but my last straw was when I last visited in December when COVID was very ongoing and there was CLEARLY a big red sign on the front door informing customers that face masks were required yet there was a car full of young men of about 7 who were entering and exiting the premises without a mask. The cashier came up to the register with her mask below her chin and left me in the middle of my transaction. The cashier who took over asked me if I was going to carry out my 2 5 gallon jugs myself to which I responded..... no. You can put them on the cart and take them out please. She proceeded to have one of the gentleman.... who was NOT an employee and who did NOT have on a mask carry out my water. I was so appalled by this that I tried calling to speak with a manager only to be told I had to wait till Tuesday. Well.... I will NOT pay for sorry customer service any longer. I had been a customer for many years but that company went way downhill when Tea2go took over. This is my favorite place for tea. The Maui coconut tea is so addicting and refreshing. FYI this location lets u bring in your yeti or whatever cup u want to and fill it up. They also sell gallon jugs of all kinds of tea! They will also teach u about the different teas and how to brew them. And they now have new tea2go off Quaker and 19th with same owners!!
