Located where the old Starbucks once was in Eastport Plaza, kind of tucked away in the corner. It's become one of my go to spots for boba. The place is beautifully decorated, very content friendly if you were to post on social media. Usually very quiet and offering a great place to study or work on your laptop. My go to drink order is the Jasmine Butterfly Pea with lychee jelly at 100% ice and 100% sweetness. The tea is very fragrant. Their boba is soft as well if you enjoy boba. They also have a variety of boba options that do complement their teas very well. I have tried their other drinks and they're very fragrant and flavorful as well. Came here while waiting for my dim sum pickup at HK Cafe. It's a cute little tea shop off 82nd and Holgate. I ordered a matcha latte, and it was perfectly flavored. The matcha flavor came through and it was not too sugary. In addition, I ordered it with oat milk as an alternative. This place has a cool motif inside, it's clean, and the drinks are artfully created and well designed. The only thing I would improve upon aside from its location, which is on 82nd Ave. and Holgate Southeast (you can't knock them points for where they're located., is the young people working's 'tudes? We tried several drinks here, but overall it was a bit underwhelming. I ordered the pistachio matcha latte. It wasn't great. Not terrible enough to toss, but definitely not something I'd get again. My husband found it bitter even though we asked for 80% sweetness. We also tried the ube swirl, lychee fruit tea, and coconut coffee. Unfortunately, none of them stood out or felt worth coming back for. The one exception was the jasmine butterfly drink. That was actually really nice, and I'd come back just for that one. We stop by Tea Talk like once a week and I realized I have not posted any good photos from them. I do have the photos with my daughter in it so I will have to post some good ones later :) . If you follow my reviews you would see I love bubble tea and love taking nice photos of any drinks / food . I love the online order and they get the orders done so quickly seriously. We usually put in an online order and its always ready by the time we get there. We have a toddler and a baby so this online order thing is so perfect. We love the milk tea and the fruit tea here. Recently they added in ube milktea which Ive been waiting for a while because my mom would prefer an ube drink vs milktea for caffeine intake purposes. They also have a nice herbal drink series which is also pretty good. They have a variety of desserts and snacks and croffle - and my fav is the savory croffle if you like dried pork floss like myself. I personally feel like the drinks are very consistently good. I have gone to a lot of places where the drinks/food like hit and miss. Highly recommend my fav milktea: oolong jasmine with oolong jasmine bobas/ or my newest go to topping - taro balls . The chocolate oreo milktea is also pretty good. Some of my fav fruit tea are the peach lemongrass tea, strawberry tea or a tropical fruit tea. The store is also very festive , they would have Fall decorations, Valetine, Tet, etc. Staff are always very friendly. If you have not stopped by, make sure to give them a visit :) read more

Ordered a large ice coffee and the coconut coffee. The GOOD - strong and rich Vietnamese coffee flavor - sweet coconut complements the bitterness of the viet coffee - very aesthetic cafe with plenty of seating. I could see myself going here to study or doing homework - fast service, we our two coffees in less than 5 mins The MID and LOWS - none :) CONCLUSION Compared to other Vietnamese coffee places in the area, I would say this is on par with Phin Cafe (which is my fav viet coffee place). Tastes really similar and priced the same as well. This will be a nice place to stop by after dim sum next door! I've been waiting to try this place for a while. They have an interesting menu with many unique options so it was hard to decide what to get. I got the roasted rice milk tea with jasmine boba and 75% sweet was just right for me. The drink itself was okay. I won't order it again because the flavor was too light for me. The jasmine boba saved the drink. I've never tried flavored boba before and I really liked it! The jasmine really shined through. The Thai tea was also good. Their milk teas are not on the creamy side if that's what you're looking for. Cute open space to do work or sit and talk. They also have unique snacks as well! Location! Nestled near HK Cafe and in the same plaza as Hong Phat. Parking is easy thanks to the big lot. The interior is very boho - packed with bamboo and wooden furnishings and surrounded by real plants. The cashiers were unfriendly and seemed impatient. A slight blow to the experience but not a major deal. The passionfruit tea was strong with flavor (not watered down) and very refreshing. The iced milk coffee was far too strong for me and tasted bitter. I'd go back to try their cheese phin coffee or avocado coffee to see if it offsets the potent coffee flavor. Big plus is that regular boba is complimentary. A nice addition since other places charge 50 cents to a dollar for boba. read more

Newly opened coffee and tea shop. It previously was a Starbucks. It is conveniently located next door to HK Cafe. The interior is sleek and modern-day. The staff taking order was friendly. The menu selection is not extensive. They do have unique flavor drinks. You can make adjustments to the ice and sweetness levels. I ordered the Jasmine Butterfly Pea milk tea with less sugar and less ice. No toppings, though black tapioca pearls is free at no extra cost. Upon receiving my drink you can automatically tell the amount of liquid is not fully filled due to my ice level request. The Jasmine Butterfly Pea milk tea [$6.00] tasted like any ordinary Jasmine milk tea. Didn't get much of a floral essence from the butterfly pea. Cheese Phin [$6.50] coffee was subpar. The coffee was strong but the cheese foam was a lackluster. With over half of the cup filled with cheese foam, it didn't taste like anything. However it was interesting to see the various takes on Vietnamese coffee and matcha drinks. I had the Green Breeze 30% sugar which consist of green apple, kiwi, kale, and banana. The smoothie was well blended and did not taste artificial. Service was great as my family and I had various question about certain drinks and were properly answered. I got the passion fruit tea with oolong jasmine tapioca. I like that the boba is flavored! This is unique and Ive never seen this before (aside from popping boba). The tea was a bit too sweet for my liking and I think I'mgoing to get 50% sweetness next time. The passion fruit flavor was strong and tart and overpowers the tea flavor. Since it's opening, tea talk has never disappointed with incorporating fun bits like having Labubu's everywhere and a variety of plants at the doorway. This little boba shop used to be a Starbucks, and they have really turned the vibes around. It is very sleek and clean inside, but with really cute homey embellishments. I love the mirror with the plants. It's such a cute anoxia media photo op moment. I got the mango fruit tea. The boba here is so soft and fresh, the perfect texture, even with an hour to closing. The tea is nice, my wife thinks the black tea could be stronger but I think the lighter brew is perfect for jasmine tea, and it's so hard to find good jasmine tea. They also have an extensive dessert selection I'm excited to try; there's so many desserts I thought I'd only get to eat when I went to Vietnam last year (including Vietnamese yogurt, which I had to get and it was delicious). The service is good, there are lots of employees which keeps things running smoothly. The ambiance is so cozy, and I like how much seating there is compared to other boba shops. Boba is my love language located in the former Starbucks, this is a cute little boba shop that offers seating for a date or a group of multiple friends. The workers greeted us as we entered and offered suggestions since it was our first time. They had seasonal summer matcha drinks going on. But tonight we were feeling a milk tea. We went with the Chocolate Oreo Milk Tea. It was like drinking chocolate milk with a hint of Oreo and soft boba. We got it at 100% sweetness and lite ice. We still got almost half cup of ice. The other drink items that looked interesting are their coffee options and the coco matcha and strawberry coco matcha- I'm guessing it's a coconut milk matcha? Not sure till I try it hehe. I did not realize that their milk tea was already pre-made? in my opinion this is losing the experience of getting milk tea at a shop. I am no stranger to Asian drinks especially Viet coffee. I got the Vietnamese ice coffee with matcha foam. I assumed the matcha foam would be a cold foam or just anything else but no, it was cheese foam mixed with matcha and it tasted awful. I don't mind cheese foam if it's made right but the flavor tasted disgusting, no matcha flavor at all. Took up 50% of the drink and ruined it. The least that they could do is advertise that it's cheese foam, how would I know it's made with cheese foam if cheese foam is separate on the menu right next to it. Second time going to this place, first time was amazing and the boba was great. So if you go here save yourself the money and don't add the foam to your coffee. read more

Cute boba shop with aesthetic interior. Loved the plants and wood elements together. I ordered a milk tea with cheese jelly and tiramisu. Tiramisu was good but overpriced. It was almost $10. I think it should not be more than $5. It also said best by 08/28 and it was already 09/01. The drink had no ice left until I got back to my car. Even though I ordered regular ice. The drink was room temp which was weird. Also they sealed the top making it impossible to eat the cheese jelly. In Vietnam when u order this drink with cheese jelly they give u a removable lid and spoon. Probably not coming back. read more
