Once inside you are shown to the parole and given a bit of a history lesson. Once you are seated you are given a binder describing over 70 teas. You get to choose your tea and your teapot. A series of serving occur with homemade mini sandwiches and sweets. The whole tea takes at least 90mins and is very relaxing and fun. Your hostess is lovely and very knowledgeable and she tries to make as authentic an experience as possible. Although it's beautiful to look at, they're not as yummy as the other items. They also offering "high tea" on Fridays between 4-6 which includes a choice of soup or salad; followed by the entree of the day (Sheppard's pie, Meat Pie with mashed potatoes, Irish Stew with Dumplings or sausage rolls with mashed potatoes and gravy), dessert, tea and a cold beverage, all for $29.95.
