Good product but they have terrible hours. I don't live close and I've tried to stop by twice in the past few years (Covid) to refill bottles. They close at 5 almost everyday (worse than bankers hours). It's a good thing they have lots of contracts for their products around the city because I'm not sure they do very much retail business or direct to consumer. I'd love to refill my bottles or trade them in, but it appears I may have to just recycle them and get my kombucha needs filled elsewhere. read more

Who knew that the largest kombucha taproom in the country was right here in Olathe?! Tea-Biotics is awesome and a must visit for anyone interested in kombucha. At the location there are 56 DIFFERENT FLAVORS ON TAP that can you sample before filling a bottle. It looks like the Keg Flavors are online if you want to check before going - I'm not sure if these rotate, but there are dozens of more common fruity flavors and some unique ones as well. Here are some of the more unique ones I'm seeing currently listed: Cayenne Mango, Cold Brew Coffee, Key Lime Pie, Margarita, Root Beer, Raspberry Balsamic, Spiced Cider, and some flavors with CBD. I watched the "Our Story" video linked on the website and learned Tea-Biotics kombucha is made with a real SCOBY, raw ingredients, organic green/black tea, and reverse osmosis water. I also learned Tea-Biotics is Woman-Owned & Operated (Certified WBENC). When I visited last weekend I grabbed a bottle of the Elderberry Mango and tried the Elderberry Lemonade on tap and both were delicious. I believe if you bring in your own bottles you can get a cheaper rate or discount of some sort but I'm not seeing confirmation of that on the website so TBD. read more

I've been drinking Kombucha for 4-5 years now after reading about the health benefits - trying several different brands and even trying to make my own. Ammmaazzzinng! I used to purchase her kombucha at Hyvee, then I found out the storefront is about two-three miles from my house. Bring in your own glass bottles ( 16oz) or growler for non full price refills. I think a 16ox refill bottle costs $3 at her store. New bottles are $5 or $6. They have at least 15 flavors on tap at the store and you are able to try all of them except the CBD blend ( due to cost to make). She has yummy flavors like peach/carrot, black cherry, beach life, banana, cream soda, root beer--the lots goes on and on! They staff is very helpful and personable, if you sign up for test messages you receive some specials deals about once a month. Worth it! My favorite kombucha in the city, does not have the typical vinegar taste of kombucha. read more

I found these at WinCo and had to try them. The beach life flavor is one of the best kombuchas I have had hands down. The other flavors are really good as well. Nice fermented taste that is not astringent and has a decent amount of effervescent quality to it. read more

I've missed this place since it moved to Lindenwood, but today I was in the area so I stopped in. Leo was very helpful and friendly. He showed me how the bags they sell are used and I bought one. It was very helpful! They had my favorite flavor which is banana. I didn't have my bottle with me but they have plenty of size options to choose from. At check-out I noticed they are now selling chicken and duck eggs! I bought a dozen chicken eggs and I'm looking forward to trying them. If it's a hot day beware they have fans, but no air conditioning. read more

Awesome! Visited them at the Just For Her Event yesterday! They were sampling 4 different flavors of Kombucha. I originally though fruit punch was going to be the one, but was surprised by blueberry! I bought an 8 ounce bottle of blueberry to take home. Refills for the JFHE are $2 all weekend, with the 1st bottle fill being $2.50 + tax. They also do farmers markets in Kansas I believe! read more

I'm giving this place 5 stars because the kombucha is amazing! I love trying the always changing flavors. The younger lady that works on Saturdays is great! She is friendly and helpful. However, the older lady that works during the week acts annoyed that customers are bothering her. Not helpful at all and I just wanted to leave to avoid the negative vibe. My advice.... go on Saturday's when the energy is positive and welcoming! read more

I'm relatively new to the world of kombucha, but I love being able to find locally made kombucha! Scoby Masters Tea-Biotics is an Overland Park Famer's Market staple, but they also have an amazing tap room in Lenexa, Kansas. The tap room is smaller than I expected, but you can sample all the flavors (24!). They have about half on one side of the space, the other half behind the counter. During my visit to the tap room, the lady working the counter was very helpful. She gave me recommendations, suggested I join the text club, told me about the elderberry syrup they had, and informed me that they also have a booth at the Lenexa Farmer's Market too! By joining the text club I was able to get a free 16oz drink! I love being able to take my bottle to any of the locations to get a refill, the bottle is definitely worth the investment. It's easy to clean and reasonably priced. Some of my favorite flavors so far have been mule mix, honey apple, #beachlife, margarita, and cherry lime. They also make great cocktail mixers too - so many benefits to such a delicious product! read more
