I'm from California visiting Manila for the first time and I was craving Mexican food. I found this place on Google. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was vibrant and our server was so accommodating. He showed me their tequila room with bottles I've never seen before. I finally was able to sample a very hard to find tequila in the U.S.: Forteleza.
We ordered the chicharron fries and they were thin and crispy, served with guacamole. Our taco flight was outstanding. My mother, who prefers flour tortillas loved these fresh, hand made corn tortillas! They were soft and held up. None of our tacos broke!
My favorite was the shrimp pastor taco. The sauce on the carne asada taco was spicy. I'm not really into spicy heat, but this was a little hot for me. I loved that every taco was served with a lime wedge!
Great atmosphere, great service, and I'd have to say this is some of the best Mexican food I've had outside of the U.S. and Mexico! 10 outta 10, I definitely recommend. read more
