The other being…read morethe absolute failure AGAVE, it's always dissapointed, since the new owners took over some time ago. Read my review of Agave before you're dissapointed. As far as Chiuahua goes, the food has more flavor, there's no wait staff, as you simply place your order at a cashier and wait for the drop off. Is it amazing, no, but it's great for a pseudo Mexican food fix. It's too hot in the restaurant, so you can sit under the fan and have your food get cold and soggy quickly, whilst your napkins blow around, or sweat your butt off. Your choice. If it's AGAVE with obnoxious, rude servers and patrons, with deafening music and drunk loud crazy laughter, or a hot restaurant with better food, give me the hot restaurant ANYDAY!!! Chiuahu is worth a try, stay away from AGAVE, or don't, and be pissed off with everthing, food included! I've eaten at both several times and I live in Arizona (Native) have been all over Mexico and speak Spanish, so I'm well aware of what's crap and what's awesome. Chihuahua is a 3 out of 10, not bad for Asia.

But the flavors are also moderate enough for a novice like myself, someone who will get a burrito bowl because it has giniling (ground meat) more than anything else. On a date with my boyfriend (who constantly gets Mexican cravings), Chihuahua is good enough, too. To Mex up his experience, he just gets more guacamole and jalapeños on the side so it works out. Chihuahua is an accessible Tex-Mex restaurant at a reasonable price for the quality of their food and service.

Start off your meal with some Chips and Salsa or a some Nacho Grande and add that with some Dynamite Chillies to really start off your Mexican meal. They also have appetizer samplers if you'd like to try different kinds of their appetizers. Now, I only order one thing and one thing alone: Grilled Chicken Fajitas. Okay, I looooove fajitas and for some reason the way they grill their chicken reminds me of El Pollo Loco in the US. And since I loooove chicken, this definitely is my one and only repetitive favorite dish. They also have other fajitas, like if you feel like you'll get too sick of the chicken, add some shrimp or beef to it. But I promise you, you NEED to try the chicken. Usually after finishing a two person meal all to myself, I never get to reach dessert, but I definitely love the fact that they have Unlimited Mojito. Yes, UNLIMITED. So after filling up your stomach with food, you don't have to worry of getting sick and puking on an empty stomach. Go for it. Get drunk. Bottomless mojito is on your way.

Food on Four seems to be designed as an upscale version of the usual SM food court so you can expect slightly higher price points. However, they do get credit for having an array of options (Filipino, Chinese, Japanese, Italian, etc) Pepper Lunch is often a popular choice but do check out Frankie's for chicken wings, Teppanyaki Brothers for an affordable teppanyaki experience or Brasas for Latin American food. And yes, they do have Eat Pinoy if you want Filipino food. New additions to the area are made-to-order sushi from Sushi Nori and Craft Salad for healthy salads, sandwiches and juice options. They get extra points for cute stall design. If you're feeling nostalgic about classic SM food court food, head over to Sizzling Plate. There's nothing quite like a sizzling T-bone with java rice to remind you that you are still in an SM mall.

My family has very discriminating taste when it comes to food and eating out (mainly because almost everyone in the family can cook), so when I say it's a place I'd bring my mom to, I mean it should meet the highest standard of quality. In terms of actual food choices, I love that they don't offer the usual cheap food fare. The food kiosks there are more like express versions of full blown restaurants. There's Brasas Latin American Street Food, Four Seasons Chinese Cuisine, Yakitori One, Teppanyaki Brothers, Eat Pinoy by Cabalen, 4 Fingers Crispy Chicken, Sbarro, Pepper Lunch Express, Slice, Cinnabon and Crazy Crepes. So, there's actually something for everyone. I love that the ambiance is more similar to the fancy foodhalls we have here than the food courts in older malls.

If you're a beer lover and looking for an alternative place to hang out, Brew Haus should be on the top of your list. Get this, they open at 7am and close at 2am. Now, I won't judge you if you ever decide to start your day with a beer with your breakfast. I know I would, too. Local beers start at P70. While imported beers start at P150. The most expensive among their selection are the Hertog beers at P1000 a pop. They have beer on tap, too, with the likes of San Miguel Light, Hoegaarden, Stella Artois, Becks and Paulaner. Maaaan, typing this out is just making me excited to have a bottle of Leffe Brune (P190). I'm hoping that sometime in the future, they'll add Indio Pale Ales to their beer selection. The local Katipunan IPA craft ales are really good and would be the perfect partner for their Grilled Cheese Burger (P195) and Ghost Wings (P395). For the cocktail loving folk, they have tequila, liqueurs, vodka, rum, gin and wine. It's not as extensive as their beer selection though. Maybe you're the "liquor before beer you're in the clear" type of person and that's a-okay. As for me, I just drink whatever whenever (and eat whatever whenever).

The place was buzzing but not overcrowded, with so many trucks lined up it was hard to choose! We grabbed killer tacos from one of the Mexican spots, some insane loaded fries, and finished with that creamy Mio Gelati pistachio gelato that honestly ruined regular ice cream for me forever. Everything was fresh, portions were generous, and nothing broke the bank--most stuff under 250 pesos. The sunset view over the open space was stunning, super chill vibe with music playing, and parking was a breeze with tons of free spots. We stayed way longer than planned just people-watching and eating. Please keep this going permanently, it's such a fun spot! Five stars, no question.

Thankfully, the food trucks are here to stay until the 13th of December - which is a good compromise! I still wish for it to be a permanent fixture so we have something going on in McKinley! When I did a quick tour of the area, the food sold at the festival didn't go over P250. That's pretty reasonable and more reasons to pig out! There's a variety of food selection from burgers, gelato, Filipino, Mediterranean, American and street food. Recently, there's an addition of Japanese and Mexican food trucks! Seriously though, I only come here for the gelato by Mio Gelati (P100 for a premium cup) but I always end up getting more than what I came for. I'd have Lamb Biryani from Shawarma Bros (P199), Bacon Cheese Burger from Malcolm's Deli (P150) and Chili Garlic Wings from Bag Wings to name a few. There are live performances as well (although I've never actually seen one). I make sure to come here as soon as it opens because the view is absolutely beautiful. Since McKinley West hasn't started most of the construction in the area, there's so much free space! You also have a view of the Essensa Towers as the sun sets. Parking is far easy as well! They have 500 parking spaces all for free!
