The most expensive among their selection are the Hertog beers at P1000 a pop. They have beer on tap, too, with the likes of San Miguel Light, Hoegaarden, Stella Artois, Becks and Paulaner. Maaaan, typing this out is just making me excited to have a bottle of Leffe Brune (P190). I'm hoping that sometime in the future, they'll add Indio Pale Ales to their beer selection. The local Katipunan IPA craft ales are really good and would be the perfect partner for their Grilled Cheese Burger (P195) and Ghost Wings (P395). Latin American or "peri peri" style grilled chicken is growing in popularity nowadays, and Galo's Latin Chicken can go head-to-head with the best of them. Last Friday night, we tried a number of Galo's dishes and my favorites were its signature Latin Chicken (P500+ for one whole chicken), and the Porco Saltado (around P180). The chicken thighs and drumsticks were tender and moist, and had good flavor. The chicken breast is slightly dry, but nothing a little chimichurri sauce won't fix. It is priced just under my favorite peri-peri chicken, so expect Galo to draw in serious foodies looking for a better deal. I hope Galo opens a QC outlet soon. I'd have Lamb Biryani from Shawarma Bros (P199), Bacon Cheese Burger from Malcolm's Deli (P150) and Chili Garlic Wings from Bag Wings to name a few. There are live performances as well (although I've never actually seen one). I make sure to come here as soon as it opens because the view is absolutely beautiful.
