Woo Madeca! No Podium movie-watching experience is complete without Madeca, I think. Hahaha. First of all, it's right beside the movie entrance, haha, second, it's one of the easiest things to order in that area of the mall, and third, the food is so good! It's Filipino-Mexican cuisine and it's such a good fusion concept given how many classic Filipino foods do actually have a lot of Mexican influences! Just look at the salpicao. That's why it's so seamless to put the two together! In Madeca's menu, they have a list of "Mexikanin" dishes, which are traditional Filipino ulams served Mexican-style with spiced rice, chips, salsa, and sour cream on the side. They have Salpicao Mexikanin and it is so good! Big serving sizes too so you're sure to be super busog afterward. I love the classic burritos though, and they have them in regular chicken and chili con carne, but they also have them in sisig and salpicao, yet again. The burritos can be on the oily side though so you might wanna blot them with a napkin if you're conscious of that, hahaha. The chips and dips on the side are really really good though. Their chips are kind of similar to Chili's in terms of crunchiness, although the texture's different. I dunno, maybe they bake it themselves too. The classic quesadillas are also delicious and well-prepared, and they have more than the usual cheese & garlic kinds. All in all, flavors are very good here at Madeca. Good, simple, yet inventive menu that won't disappoint. read more
