I could also pay and tip online. Their contact consulted with me throughout the service to ensure the tv would be where I wanted it, and he was careful to put down protective cloth so that they wouldn't leave a mess. He worked pretty quickly, neatly, and ensured I was good with the service before he left. They also provided a cord cover for the tv cable without an extra charge. Overall, it took about 30 mins. It was a little pricey, but I knew that beforehand and chose them because they had good reviews! Would definitely recommend.

The installer said we had to have 2 televisions on wireless. We have 4 tv's same as the other house. He didn't want to go under manufacturered home here. And they keep trying to sell you stuff while they're here as well. Well one week went by and they shut off our wireless joeys no notice. Had no idea what the problem was. Unfortunately, calling them does not help you're talking to someone from El Salvador. They said they shut off the wireless because we weren't supposed to have them. I really don't know the reason why. I have to tell you I will never deal with them again. It's too bad when you have a problem you have to talk to someone from another country. Although, they answer immediately if you want to buy something, after you buy it, it is impossible to get someone on the phone. I have been a loyal Comcast customer for years and years, but just moved and decided to try out Verizon Fios for a change. I spent an hour setting up my in house wiring earlier today to make it as easy as possible for the VZ Fios tech to complete the installation today. All my fiancé did was let him in the door, tell him which tv's to set up and let him hook it up. She called me and told me that the tech said he can't hook up one part bc the HDMI cable is crushed and that I need to get a new HDMI cable. I told her that is impossible. I just carefully set everything up. The HDMI cable she is talking about is 25 feet long, a high-end style, which I personally, and carefully, wired myself from our home office into the living room to be closer to the router. I checked it several times and it took me a while to complete. I just got home to check the work. It was NOT crushed. The end connector piece is now broken off of the HDMI cable and is stuck in the back of the TV. It looks like the tech (my fiancé did not touch a single thing), roped the tv away from the wall, without unplugging anything, tore the HDMI apart from itself and got it stuck in the TV HDMI port in the back. Now, my $1000 70" TV is damaged, my expensive HDMI cable is broken, then time I spent wiring everything was wasted, and VZ Fios Just charged me $90 for the visit. Plus, to top it off, I cannot get a hold of anyone at VZ to tell them what happened. All I can say is, I have had less than a day's dose of VZ Fios and I am somewhere between canceling and suing for a new TV. Stay with Comcast. This is not worth the headache.

Roger did an excellent job with a Starlink internet installation in Outer Cape Cod. Previously, the…read moreonly Internet option available was DSL. It would have cost $70,000 per mile to expand fiberoptic cable to the home. Other local satellite companies said it wouldn't be possible to have the necessary line-of-sight to their satellites. Starlink was our last hope. The job was complicated by the fact that we were coordinating the logistics from 500 miles away. The location of the install was challenging - a fairly remote, sparsely populated location with significant tree canopy. Roger helped the whole way through - from guiding us to purchase the proper equipment from Starlink, speaking with an arborist to help us with tree cover issues, and explaining his approach as he performed the work. He used a 5 ft. tripod and an additional 10 ft. pole to mount the Starlink dish on the roof. That gave it enough clearance from the tree canopy to pull in a strong signal. Internet speeds were as fast as 260 Mbps down and 30 Mbps up. This compared to 4 Mbps down and 1 Mbps up with DSL previously. Needless to say, we're quite pleased with this result. Roger is clearly an expert at his craft. He's been in business for 46 years. He also has a great work ethic. He spent a significant amount of time on the roof in 95-degree heat. He didn't stop until the job was done. The cable run into the home was efficient, and he cleaned up impeccably after his work. And he's a nice guy to boot. Worth every penny!
