My bill has changed 3 times in the last 3 months and TDS is trying to charge me twice for the same month. Internet drops all the time and nowhere near the megabytes your supposed to get. I wouldn't even give it a 1 star but didn't have a choice. STAY AWAY!!!! read more

It's like they're deliberatly trying to scam us. They keep shuting off our internet each month and demanding exorbitant amounts of money for various fraudulant reasons such as returned equipment charges and instalation charges that never took place. This happens monthly and each time requires 2-3hours on the phone talking to people who need the entire situation explained before they transfer us to someone else in their office who makes us repeat the process 2-5 times before getting to a manager. We changed our wifi name too FuckTDS because of course we did, and they just continue to live up to the sentiment. read more

Absolutely the worst option of cable, but they are also the only option. Wanted cable to watch the NBA playoffs, but the tech never showed up. Call customer service and they claimed there was no work order, except I had the email with the work order number. The rep claimed she needed to talk to her supervisor and placed my wife on hold. After 30 they hung up on her. I called, got an answer. They claimed our order was canceled because we had a delinquent account for the last 556 days. You'd think they would have mentioned that oh you know 526 days ago. Don't waste your money on TDS! read more

What a joke! I signed up for tds and they gave me a "plug n play" router. I told them I have to have WiFi ready for our super bowl party. Sure enough I wasn't getting internet connection so I called support on Friday. They promised me a Call back after waiting on hold for 1.5 hours! NO CALL BACK!! Called again on Saturday and they said they would call back and get someone out to my house to set it up. NO CALL! Should I mention that 1 of the two lady's got up and left for lunch with a long line while I was signing up! Waited in line for over an hour. So far between holding on the phone, waiting in line, and trying to figure out how to get my "plug n play" router working I've wasted over 6 hours of my time! Absolute TRASH. Their customer service is downright pathetic. We called for an installation and made a point to be home for the technicIan; claimed to come on the first day but never showed so we rescheduled for another day. This time we went out of our way to leave a note on the door to let them know that we are, in fact, home; claims no one was home again. When we called their customer support line and asked for a supervisor the person on the phone felt the need to talk to my girlfriend in a baby voice and said something along the lines of "oh you want to talk to a manager?" VERY unnecessary and disrespectful. We cancelled our installation and took our service LITERALLY ANYWHERE ELSE. read more

This is the worst company I have ever worked with - they screw up and they waste your time arguing with you about it and then won't ever ever give you courtesy credits. The customer service is horrible, the service is down half the time and it is by far the most expensive service in the Iron County, Utah area. Terrible company. They will tell you one price over the phone when you sigh up or add on to your existing services, but when you get your bill it is much more then they first told you. There customer service is terrible, they argue and are rude rather then be helpful. This is the worse company I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. STAY AWAY!!! This company is horrible, the internet is great at first but gradually gets worse. The customer service is horrible. And the employees rude entitled and crass. They charge you for everything they can possibly think of. When you call no one knows what they are doing and when they try to transfer you to someone who does know they can't even transfer a call correctly and will drop your call MULTIPLE times. I tried going with century link first but they told me last minute they couldn't install because the building I was living in was newly renovated and they didn't have the right cable. I then went straight in to the TDS store and Linda and the other lady working were so kind and helpful!! I walked in and out with a router I could install myself all with in like 15 minutes! Had WiFi immediately after it was fantastic!! Highly recommend you go in to the store instead of trying to do it online! But thank you Linda you guys made everything so easy and great!! read more

If you are looking for very poor customer service and the inability to get help when the internet is out, TDS is the company. TDS sucks, that's what they are good at, not giving a rats-ass about customers valuable time or quality of service. When TDS internet service is out be prepared to be put on hold and not be able to talk with a service person. They won't expend any effort to fix the problem but they will make a bigger problem out of it by ignoring you. Worst company I ever dealt with. Costumer service is atrocious. Spoke to three different people on the phone, got three different stories, after being on hold for three plus hours. Still did not have my issue resolved. They do not prorate bills when cancelled. So not use this company. read more

I paid for their high-speed deal for internet at $60.00 per month...somehow it jumped to $100.00 every 2 weeks, and this is for internet that is currently(just did a speed test) at 284 kbps for download and 242 kbps for upload speed...that's not even 1mbps...old school dial-up is faster...so I am paying $200.00 per month for internet that isn't even fast enough to watch net flix...what a rip off read more

The internet service is good. Customer service is the most horrible ever dealt with. Changing service due to attitudes. After a year they will keep hiking your rates. Internet and TV. Going with AWI. So much nicer. Also when you look at your guide on cable TV you go to watch a program and it's always something else that's on. Can't even get that right! read more
