Zac is a great salesman. He contacted me on a Sunday and followed up quickly on Monday when he checked the car I was interested was still on the lot. I did not receive any significant discounts for the vehicle I purchased but, I did an external inspection and the vehicle had zero issues. Zac also went over the mechanical report done at their service center. I did elect to have body shop repairs done and Zac was kind enough to find me a loaner. He did go above and beyond. I would recommend Zac and can also say this was a smooth transaction process. read more

Lies, lies and more lies. I know this is a tough business but do you really have to lie about everything. You weren't swamped with customers, your friend wasn't going to be mad if we bought this truck, did the truck get sold right after we left or two days before. Culture from the manager and salesperson is just lie. Beware. read more

Avoid this place at all costs! I worked here over the summer and they never once gave me a check. After six months of calling them and them telling that they will "look in to it" nothing happened untilthe manager saw my Facebook review and said he would take care of it and call me back. Two weeks went by and he still never called me back. At this point I was tired of the lies and went to there location personally and he told me he "forgot". After over six months of waiting and then trying to avoid the problem,I finally received my money. So I guess this place will try to scam anybody even if they were an employee. read more

HEY ZAC, do you still think that CASH doesn't mean anything at a dealership? Ha ha, I've bought 3 vehicles at a better CASH deal than advertised and CASH IS STILL KING! You are RUDE and for all the buyers that you claimed where interested in this truck, the truck is STILL FOR SALE 3 weeks later?!? You Zac are obviously in the wrong business.....I do not recommend this business to anyone! read more

Don't believe a thing they say, all they do is lie and push you to purchase things you don't need. I've bought 2 vehicles and had major problems with both. They promise to fix things but eventually they won't return your calls. Just save yourself the headache and find a better place. read more

WOW is all I can say. I am so impressed with the Guys at TDR from Dirk getting us an awesome rate to Jamie finding exactly what I wanted and finally Ron doing our paperwork. I would truly recommend TDR to anyone in my circle of family and/or Friends. What a great experience. Thank you TDR Auto Plaza Crew! Todd read more

These guys lied to me and gave me the runaround. Talked me into coming up to trade my van in for a car they sold the day before. When I complained to the manager there was no apology. Instead he told me I didn't put a deposit down so basically I didn't matter. Dane another manager told me that they did make a mistake and he was going to correct it. This guy never corrected any mistake. He promised he would call me back and tell me whether or not he could get me into another vehicle. He called me back to tell me he was going to have a meeting. After that he never called me back again. Talk about some great customer service. These guys are your stereotypical used car dealers. Sad, sorry liars. read more

Stay away. They are dishonest. We found a very nice used truck for our son and was told it wouldn't be available for sale until Monday because it had just come in. We stated that we were already pre-approved and wanted to put money down to hold it. The salesman said that they didn't take holds, but he would contact us on Monday after it was prepped by the mechanics. On Monday morning, we find out they sold it. The dishonesty comes from different statements from the salesman's and the manager. The salesperson said, it sold right after we left. We were told it wouldn't even be for sale until Monday. They sales manager said it sold the day before. When asked why did the salesman didn't know this information, he said he wouldn't have access to that. I asked, if we wanted to purchase it that day (we were told it wasn't for sale yet) the manager said, he would have found out then. He contradicted (lied) within the same sentence. He stated that they were extremely busy that day, but we were the only ones there for about the hour we were there. Good thing we know that they are dishonest, and others should know as well. read more

Salesman lie to you and so will the General Manager. All they're concerned about is making a quick buck and wasting your time. Save yourself the hassle. read more

Terrible people , will do what they can to rip you off..I'm stuck with 3 babies and no car..thanks I bet they sleep just fine being the nasty people they are read more

Walked around the lot for about 15 minutes waiting for a salesman to ambush. Nothing. Wondered around inside nothing. Eventually I just walked out. Maybe because I was a teen they just ignored me, but I don't know. I went elsewhere and bought a 2015 Mustang, and was treated great! read more

I went to these guys with sub-par credit history. They were able to work with me in and get me into a better vehicle than I anticipated. The guys were great and made the whole experience worth the drive. Kodi was awesome. read more

I'm very pleased with my experience purchasing a car from TDR. They negotiated the price fairly and efficiently. Both the owner and salesman were friendly and personable. They did everything they promised when they said they would. I enjoyed my car-buying experience. read more

this place is very sketchy and would screw over their own grandmothers. the paperwork to purchase the car took entirely way too long, have taken the car back on several occasions to fix problems and they either say nothing is wrong or lie to me and tell me they fixed it when it wasnt touched. the car came with a 3 month 3000 mile warranty and I also purchased an extended warranty from a third party that has a $100 deductible. these guys are purposely waiting till the 3 month warranty is up so they can collect the deductible. do NOT deal with these people. all of the cars are rejects from a bigger dealership that they don't want to mess with fixing or it has too many miles. TDR puts just enough money into them to get them to sell and then won't give you the time or day to make it right when these junks cars break down. read more

made an offer on a truck. they accepted the offer. told them I had cash and was driving the next morning from st louis to get it. salesmen told me there "word" is good and i didnt need to put any money down to hold it. they sold the truck that night without even giving me a chance to offer more or put a down deposit. THEY ARE NOT HONEST read more

So let me begin by saying I love my 2012 Ford Escape that I purchased here. What I do not love is how TDR nor their sister store Gary Crossley Ford in Liberty stand behind their brand. The issue arose when the vehicle I purchased only came with an after-market transponder key with no key fob and no spare. Naturally, I want both. Before closing on the deal the salesperson said that he would get me both. I naturally assumed that TDR would pay for these things. Well four days later . . . key guy is up at TDR and they call me to bring the vehicle back to get the parts made. The quote . . . $45 for a transponder key, $45 for a key fob (mind you the original key for this Escape per the owners manual is the transponder key with the built in fob) and if I wanted to get the door code read I would have to take it to Gary Crossley and have them hook it up to their special Ford computer for another $45. I was like it was not my understanding that I would have to pay for any of these things. The "best" TDR could do was to have the key guy bill them and I would pay them later. I have already paid for the car with the understanding that I would get a spare key and key fob so no I am not going to pay $140 for the key, key fob and door code. Shame on TDR and Gary Crossley for not standing by their brand. They did not build the Ford the hardworking men and women in Claycomo did. There is nothing wrong with the quality of the vehicle. My issue is the quality of customer service. How well do these people really take care of people who have invested their hard-earned money to buy a vehicle from them rather than other dealerships??? I will let you decide but next time let me try Thoroughbred or Zeck Ford instead maybe they will provide better service. read more
