It's hard to find someone in the auto repair business who's both skilled and honest, but Joe checks both boxes. I've taken my car there a few times, and every time he's been upfront about what's wrong, what needs to be fixed right away, and what can wait. No pressure, no BS--just straight answers and quality work. His prices are fair, and you can tell he takes pride in making sure the job is done right. If you're looking for a reliable shop with a mechanic who actually cares, Apollo Transmission is the place. Joe runs it the right way.

Took in daughters older car for A/C repair, they said it needed a leak check for $150. They found a leak and said $700 would resolve the issue for mainline replacement. A week later it didnt work again, took back in they said another $2K to fix it because it had another leak. Took to another shop to verify and they said it was clear that 2nd leak had been there for a while. Would have NEVER gottten the first repair done if we knew it was $3K. When I surfaced my frustration they took no ownership of it. Im done w/ them. Do NOT recommend them.

Earlier in my trip, I had backed into a high curb and bent part of my rear bumper, and it had been bothering me ever since. I walked in expecting a 3-4 day fix. The guys got me fixed in 24 hours. That kind of honesty is hard to find. He could've told me I needed a new bumper or billed me 3x for the repair, but instead he simply helped me and wished me a safe trip. I'm now three hours away, but I'd gladly make that drive again just to give Alex my business. Highly recommend.

It was going to cost $12k. I've used Leibrand's in the past and knew they'd give me honest answers. They fixed the cracked head for 1/3 the price of the other shop. They were great and communicated everything I needed. They gave me 3 options to fix it along with reasonable quotes. Since I'm retired and on a fixed income, I chose the cheapest route. They fixed it but I had a related issue that showed up after driving it about 10 miles. I took the car back and left it after-hours along with a phone message explaining the problem. They called the following morning and told me what they found, fixed it and to come get it, no charge. While I may have experienced some inconvenience, I considered it minor and was treated courteously with the utmost respect. I have to say, their technicians are professional and the one who worked on my car explained what he discovered and showed me the part that failed and what I needed to do next, maintenance-wise. The work bays are the cleanest of any shop I've ever seen. I highly recommend Leibrand's, you won't regret it.
