I definitely prefer using a more local bank to a National one, and RBT is a good one for sure. Interest rates are fair, if not generous, and they require no minimum balance for most of their account types. If you're just a simple human looking for simple banking like I was then RBT is definitely the way to go.

They're quick to charge you fees and extend you credit when your credit is perfect but when it's not forget it. I've had a mortgage with them for over 13 years and always paid it on time. Now I've fallen on a temporary financial hardship they offer nothing for options or assistance other than reporting my payment as late to the credit bureau and ruining my credit. Stay far away from this bank!
