Merrimack County Savings Bank has superior checking account services. Minimum balance is $50, as opposed to $100 at TD. Penalty for falling below minimum balance is $3 at MCSB, as opposed to $14 at TD. I was charged $3 by TD bank for nothing more than looking at my account balance on an ATM screen. I repeat, unless you are a millionaire, there is no reason to use any TD Bank, much less one that is about 100 feet from a superior bank.
