I joined 20 years ago when my company CU changed hands. There have been many mess ups on their…read morepart. My exhusband deposited his check into his own account using a deposit slip and when he checked on line a day later the amount was not there. Long story short-they deposited his check into MY account- both separate accounts, different address. When I told him, he went to the CU and they told him to have me write him a check for it, UM NO. I refused and told him to go back and make they fix their own mistake. A few years later I applied for a mortgage on my home per a divorce decree to buy out the ex. I had 3 parcels of land, one with the house and 2 adjacent ones. I told them lot #3 was not to be included as it had a separate deed and put this in writing, Day I went to sign the mortgage, I read the documents and they had included it- I was borrowing 30% of the home value. I told them nope, and they replied if they had to fix it , I would have to wait another 6 weeks, and I told them fine, but it won't be with this CU , they got it fixed in 20 mins. I am looking around as I have had more recent careless errors and I am tired of being on hold for 35 mins

I don't like banks. In fact, I've given up using banks. I have nothing but harsh words for 'too…read morebig to fail,' bailouts, fees, rules, and frozen impersonal robots who parrot what they've been told to say. I switched to a credit union some years ago, and will never go back to banks. I actually *enjoy* going to this place. I know the tellers and staf by name. WHen I walk in the door, they know me by name and have my account up without asking for a "number." From the beginning, they worked with me to build my credit: a small secured loan, a small credit card, a debit card, etc. Issues of name changes, marital status changes, address changes, were all handled smoothly and without a wrinkle. These people SMILE at their customers. I have seen them work through lunch when necessary (GASP! Food on the desk!) and I have seen customer walk in with their dogs (OH HORROR!). This is a laid-back, yet professional, human, well-operated financial institution. They have made my first ever experience with a Credit Union a sheer delight.

I can no longer pay my CC online due to switching companies within the credit union. Ok, so what are my options? I've contacted you several times online and received no response but you have no problem marking me late. So, a phone call to them gets a response of well, the only way to to send us a check and we will make the payment for you. WHAT?? I just went back in time and wouldn't know even where my checkbook is never mind a postage stamp. Get with the times CCFCU or you will be out of business. Your clientele is dying everyday and you are not setup to deal with the growing generations. Not too mention you are pretty rude on the phone when questioned about your antiquated policies.

Where do I start: -Phone representative told me I…read morecould walk in to the Keene branch, I had lost my credit card over the weekend and account had to be frozen, I showed up and I was informed there is only 1 representative working that day and I need to come back later. The manager was not helping any customer, why couldn't she help me?? Not understanding nor sympathizing the severity or security of the issue as a bank is a BIG red flag. -Manager herself could not even finish creating a new checking account for me, she had to call the IVR system, wow so why did I even go into this branch. -Ordered checks for me since I now have a new checking account, when I called back asking when I can expect the checks, I was told the check order was NEVER placed? AGAIN are you serious? -Then there were all sorts of set up issues on my account, which I had to call back into the IVR system myself to fix, and was finally able to fix and talking to someone. My ebill and credit cards were still linked to my old checking account, so I had all kinds of access issue. Old checking account not deleted...I can go on but I spare you the time. -I was told I could activate my debit card by just viewing my balance, I viewed my balance and it had $0. SERIOUSLY? Then I had to go back and tell the manager to switch out my primary account to the new checking account. Also, I could have activate the debit card by making a purchase as well and using my pin, which was NOT informed to me. -When I told the one representative that was working that day the ATM wasn't working, all he said was "OH GREAT!". Sarcasm is not needed when someone is in an urgent situation and needs cash. What a mess, stay away don't bother coming in to the branch, you can do everything via phone.
