Just had a truly awful experience with the lying, power-tripping manager of this Chase branch…read more.. Her name is Jacklyn Watson Danby... Her partner in abusing me was Michelle Esola... They should both be fired for terrible service and for being abusive liars who would rather play childish, power-tripping games than doing their jobs... First, Ms Danby claimed she could not (or would not choose to) verify my id based on my drivers license... even if I gave her my ssn, or any number of other ids... She wouldn't help me without my debit card, which I had never needed before to get cash... So, Ms Danby makes me stand aside and wait 'for her manager'... & after I stood there while several other customers were helped, she sent me to Ms Esola for 'further verification'... Well, when asked by Ms Esola for my phone number, I gave it... Asked for my address and gave that, too... Then, Ms Esola asked me to recite my last 3 banking transactions, which I did not know - so she said I 'failed' the verification and I would not be allowed to make a withdrawal from my account... Now, I knew my address, phone #, ssn, account #, and had multiple picture IDs... & the bank has cameras... So, why was I still being vetted? It was just ridiculous... Then, Ms Danby FALSELY claimed I threatened her, at which point she claimed she'd call the cops... I asked her to please call the cops, because I absolutely did not in any way threaten her and had done nothing wrong ... & it is at that point she finally gives me my money... Now, it is Important to understand that I take false accusations very seriously... what Ms Danby said is slander...I did not, in any way, threaten her or anyone else... & jerking me around - making me wait 20 minutes to get my money - was no better... basically, they were just playing a game, like a couple of very stupid 12 year old girls... they were clearly getting off on it... these people are unconscionable scumbags... & i'm not sure which was lying, but both claimed the other was the manager... this happened @1pm on Tuesday, 9/4... I hope and assume this is all on tape - if so - please review and fire them both... they deserve it... they are truly rotten people...

He starts looking at me lifting up my identification scratching it and after I patiently wait I decided to ask him if there was a problem he went on to say my driver license was fake and he needed to keep looking at it . I was so embarrassed and so upset I couldn't believe what was happening before my eyes . Upon walking in I was greeted immediately with friendly faces. The assistant manager Maureen came out immediately and introduces herself and asked what brought us in to Northfield , once I explained she and invited me into her office right away. She explained all types of accounts to me and all of their services. I am no familiar with a lot of banking information so to me this was extremely useful. Everything was explained in a simple manner that it didn't feel like she was just trying to up sell me like people at previous banks have made me feel. Once I figure out a few house keeping things I will most definitely be going to see Maureen and the rest of the friendly staff at this location. AND THE BEST PART WAS, there was hardly any wait at all. What a score these days when it comes to visiting banks I usually expect a headache by the time I leave however this experience was fantastic. I will be recommending Northfield bank to my friends! It is nice to know you can still get such great customer service in the crazy world we live in.

The bank is decent overall, but this branch... I'm not sure if it's the design of the place or just…read morethe people... but this location is not friendly or welcoming. I walked in, and needed to speak with a bank representative.... and no clear direction of where that would be. I start walking and then hear a voice.... "can I help you". It came from behind a 1/2 panel wall, where an employee was sitting. After walking over to him (yes, he didn't get up.... was busy sitting at his desk), I went over what I needed... and he started to work on it. During that time... he had to call a central number to set up a new account.. which lead to question that he asked me... but he clearly wasn't listening to my response. Over 30 mins later and the account is finally set up and I leave.... something that should not have taken more than 10 to 15 mins to take care of.
