Their attorney's letter demanded the planning board in Oceanport rescind permits we were legally issued in February 2013 or his clients the 'Miller's' will sue the town. With the NJ Variance Waiver that was put in place following the super storm Sandy there was no need for us to go before the town planning board if we rebuilt within the original footprint, which we had complied with. Needless to say, Oceanport wound up rescinding permits forcing us to go before the planning board. From September 2013 through March 2014 [five months] we were in battle with Oceanport's planning board in order to have them reissue the permits they rescinded so we could continue to rebuild our house. Between the emotional distress of the storm, our personal losses and financial devastation I lost my job in November. This caused a domino effect whereby SBA declined the loan they approved for us to rebuild our home, due to the fact we now had only one income. Once we lost the loan we could no longer afford to rebuild which caused us to turn our property back to the bank holding our mortgage. We are now paying a deficit on a piece of land we no longer own. We thought that would be the end of our misery regarding this ordeal, however, less than one month after we turned our house over to Provident Bank of NJ, they hired Dana Miller of Weichert Realtors to sell this piece of land. This is the very person that caused us to lose our property and now Dana Miller & Weichert Realtors will make money off of our loss. I contacted Carin Henderson, Dana's manager at Weichert, to give her an opportunity to do the right thing and remove Weichert/Dana Miller from the listing because there appeared to be a conflict of interest between Weichert, Provident Bank of NJ and most especially Dana Miller. So far no response from Weichert Realtors.

It was sent through the mail and we did not know where the payment was. We checked for a few days later and the checks "never arrived". We reported the checks as lost and made payments directly to the bank. From the Loan Office we received a $15.00 fee request for the stop payment for the check which was "lost". The worker sent a copy of the original check. The bank had the first check in their possession. These bank workers kept trying to charge us for the fees for almost one month, our attempts to correct this mix-up was met with workers not returning calls and not crediting the customers' account ASAP. The electronic calls and Xeroxed letters were never scrutinized by alert workers. I don't want to continue my mortgage with Provident Bank. The type of business should not have these kinds of people working there.
