Service was great. We were greeted when we walked in and the guys behind the counter were friendly. The yogurt was good. There was way more variety than I expected, and regular and soft serve. Only downside was the bathroom. It was so disgusting I walked in then walked right out. The dining room seats looked like they could use a decent cleaning too. read more

I grew up with TCBY and have such fond memories of shivers and parfaits. Then suddenly TCBY disappeared. Why and how, I will never understand because it was so delicious. Fast forward 20 years and I discovered this lone random TCBY is Grosse Pointe of all places. Ok, win! It is just like I remember it, nothing has changed. It's like a long lost white chocolate mousse friend. I highly recommend, it so much better than those newer froyo chains. read more

Can't say thank you enough to Rakia for her patience and kindness while my toddler decided what ice cream "color" she wanted. Lol. Little did she know we were popping in after trying to soothe a school disappointment and RaKia's awesome service made a stressed out mom and a bummed out toddler's afternoon so much better. So Sweet! What a great little treat. While driving around town, I decided to stop and grab a TCBY ice cream. Seeing as TCBY is very rare to find this day and age, I had to try it out for myself and see if the ice cream still lived up to my childhood memories. I ordered a cup of Vanilla ice cream with extra Sprinkles. After tasting the first bite, I was ecstatic! The ice cream was just how I remembered it when I was a kid. While a lot of businesses mix and match their flavors and ingredients, I could still taste the original, rich and smooth flavor that TCBY ice cream is known for. While having to wait just a few minutes in line, the staff quickly greeted me and offered to make me an ice cream. The interior is nice and clean and the staff was pleasant. Gross. Our ice cream and yogurt was half melted when they handed it to us. I asked if there were fresh strawberries, she said yes. The strawberries were still frozen when I bit into them. Even my 5 year old said "I don't like this place." We all have stomach aches now. read more

I frequent this location often, as it is one of the only places that offers dairy free ice cream that is not sorbet. It's so nice to see that they are reaching out and expanding their options for people who cannot have dairy!! The silk chocolate almond soft serve is delicious, probably my favorite ice cream to get anywhere!! Love how it's light but still has just enough sweetness and flavor. Used to go once a week. Now franchisee has raised prices twice this year and now charges you 3.25 percent to use a credit or debit card. Shame on you. Greedy owner. Take that 3.25 percent and give this poor HS kids a raise you probably pay minimum wage to also. read more

I love TCBY and this is the location I patronize the most. My boyfriend and I are regulars here. We love the rewards card and recommend getting one. I actually receive text messages from this location and sometimes they have really good deals. The service here is always great. All of the girls are so nice here. This location is always spotless and that's much appreciated. Obviously the frozen yogurt and toppings here are delicious. Everything is always fresh and so worth the calories. I also love the location of this one. It's not far from my house. I highly recommend coming here. It's easily my favorite place in Grosse Pointe to go to for dessert. My boyfriend and I are big fans of the soft serve... that's what we both get every time. read more

Their ice cream is not all that, to be honest. I used to go there weekly, but over the years their prices have gone up tremendously and their ice cream is not of the same equality as it used to be. Once I even found a hair in my sundae. It's kind of a last-resort ice cream joint to me at this point. The staff there is always very friendly though. read more

I really did not enjoy my time here. I ordered 2 vanilla frozen yogurts to go. After I put my toppings on (which was extremely difficult because the yogurt took up the whole cup so toppings just kept falling) I went to the register where the guy working smashed all of the yogurt and toppings with a lid. It leaked through the bag before I even left the shop. I much prefer Orange Leaf, where they let you pour your own yogurt so you can actually get what you want. I'll travel further next time to skip this place. On top of that, my husband and I both had "issues" with the yogurt after we ate it. read more

This TCBY is my favorite because it allows you to put your own toppings. Some other places have it so the employees do it for you but I prefer to do it myself. The yogurt here is soooo good I love it. I find myself craving it all the time. I usually get a vanilla and chocolate swirl with toppings. It turns out amazing every single time. You can get beverages, snacks, hot dogs and frozen custard and frozen yogurt. Emerson's by the Bay is situated right by the lake and New Baltimore park. Perfect spot to grab a sweet treat while enjoying your time at the park or watching the sunset. My Mom and I came here last night to get froyo. Several flavors to choose from. I had cheesecake, cake batter and strawberries and cream. Awesome flavor and strawberries and cream was my favorite. Tons of toppings to choose from and shoutout to Emerson's for having cereal toppings. Love fruity pebbles! It's 51 cents an ounce and get a punch card to get your 7th froyo free! Very clean and staff is really friendly! Welcome to New Baltimore, Emerson's by the Bay!

Very cute exterior almost resembles buildings in Germany. Have plenty of outdoor seating including a space with a fire pit. When we walked inside you could smell the chocolate and it smelled so good. Average since retail shop with an ice cream counter and candy counter. If you walk towards the back, you can actually view the workers turning out chocolates in the factory ( but DO NOT take photos/videos in that area! They have signs posted all over the windows stating that). CLEANLINESS: CUSTOMER SPACES (lobby, seating): Appeared clean BATHROOMS: Did not check them out but if I was to judge by the cleanliness of the main areas, I would guess they are clean!
