I chose Universal Heating based purely on the great reviews. It really made a difference in my opinion. Rob the technician showed up on Monday in the afternoon. Diagnosed the issue and found out I would need a new control board. Instead of just assuming I would need it right away, he offered me options to save some money. We could wait till the next day so that I wouldn't need to pay for him to drive downtown on the same day and come back and install it. We'd gone this long without heat, what's another day. He came back the next day about the same time and fixed it. Now granted the furnace was about 7-8 years old, he did offer some great advice to prolong the lifespan of this furnace. I would recommend to be clear with them on expectations of quality. multiple parts of our installation ate left unfinished and left with easy access for rodents to enter home and garage. once they got their final payment it has been a hassle to get them back to fix issue. the finish quality is poor. if you use them be sure to with hold funds til all work is complete. be clear where you want placement of all components as if not they put them in wherever they want and you will come home to a surprise placement of the component.
