I contracted TBW to paint my house. It started well the first week, but TBW kept taking on new jobs. After the first week, new contractors kept constantly showing up. They stopped arriving on time, often afternoon, and would then quit after a few hours. Worse yet, at times, they would try to stay late painting at night only to have to repaint the next day what they messed up from not being able to paint at night.
The quality dropped precipitously, as seen in these photos. They kept starting jobs and then not finishing. They weren't taping anything off, so things looked worse and worse. We received many promises and excuses about the situation, but things only worsened. After three months, I had to terminate our contract as there was no hope of a resolution.
I paid half up front, and my house was in rough shape, but I hoped I'd be able to get someone else to finish it. However, all the painters who came to bid refused to work on it; the work was so shoddy. Because TBW hadn't properly prepped the siding of my house, when I ran my finger along it, the paint peeled off. As evidenced by the attached picture, that paint has already begun bubbling.
That means I'm not only paying for a whole new paint job, but I also have to spend more money to get all the paint stripped. read more
