Been going to Tbraids for almost a year due to a recommendation from my youngest sibling and every session is also a hit. Love that she gets back quickly with how much service's are and what she has available, and if she needs some extra time just in case anything comes up she's always prompt about letting me know which I greatly appreciate. Whenever I see her, give or take, every month to every other month, we just pick up on where we left off in our previous conversation's and just vibe off one another since I've been seeing her a long time. And the best part is that she isn't afraid to tackle all types of hair, including mine which has a mix plate of genes, such as Hawaiian, Japanese, Filipino, African-American and Native American throwing in those curly coils, yeah it can be a nightmare at times. So I've been struggling with finding a braider for my hair and once I've seen what she could do with my hair I was sold. BEWARE!! I definitely should've looked at the yelp reviews before trusting this person and her business. Unfortunately, I wasn't even able to get a good impression of her at all. I even gave her two chances to make it right... instead I got two last-minute cancellations. I needed my hair braided for two photo events and neither worked out. The first cancellation happened because she double booked me even though I had prepaid and everything. Literally got a refund three hours before I was supposed to arrive. The second cancellation, which happened today, started with her telling me that she had run out of product and needed to go to Walmart to pick it up which would take her around 15 minutes. Mind you, she messaged me this as I was two minutes away from her apartment. The funniest part about that, is I Google-mapped Walmart and it was a minimum of an 18 minute round-trip for her, not including going in and out of the store. I don't live nearby either... It was a 25 minute drive to get to her and I don't have a vehicle so I had my partner bring me. After that I told her I was confused at the unprofessionalism, considering I planned my whole day around the appointment. I asked for her arrival time, and she replied with the fact that running out of product "happens" and that she's going to give me my money back. I got the refund a couple minutes after. Me being me I'm excited to get a free braiding session for all the trouble, right? NOPE. I asked her if she will still be doing the braiding appointment / that I've been waiting around for her to get back... She replied that she sent the refund and that my appointment is canceled. Just wow. Not only did I arrive and she wasn't there, but I waited around for her only to find out that she rudely canceled my appointment. Horrible customer service, no regard for her clients. I really hope she isn't she all of her customers like that :( read more

She's easy to schedule with and has a professional secretary who answers all of her inquiries and responds so very quickly. It was so convenient to make an appointment with her and when we met we immediately clicked ! She gave clear instructions as to what Info was needed to make a specific type of appointment. I had the double Dutch braids as she had an awesome special going on at the time. she always has specials and is very reasonably priced. Her work is exquisite and so fresh and so clean! So my review isn't based on her ability to braid whatsoever. For all I know she is a good Braider based on the photos I've seen. My issue was with booking. Prior to flying in to Hawaii I booked an appointment 3 weeks prior to needing my hair done. I was given a time slot and date which worked for me and I placed a Venmo deposit that I listed my appointment date and time on. Today when I went to confirm the location I was told that I hadn't paid and that someone was given my slot. The Venmo account lists my name as well as the Instagram name I was messaging her on. To top it all off I was having my hair done for a special occasion the next day and then was left without time for a suitable backup plan. I was refunded my money but obviously that didn't solve my problem. This is probably an isolated incident and I do understand mistakes can be made. I would just recommend that anyone who books to verify once you place your deposit that she has a confirmed slot for you. I'm pretty sure Venmo gives notifications for payments. I will take a small piece of responsibility in this for not checking sooner. Hopefully I'm the last person this will happen to. read more

I actually wanted her to do my braids for my 21st birthday but scheduling fell through on my end so I went to someone else. Fast forward two years later, I finally land a spot in Tiffany's seat and I couldn't be more happier with my hair. I asked for jumbo box braids during the scheduling process and that's exactly what I got but 10x more better. I showed her a reference picture and it turned out so great! Better than the picture actually!! She's super precise and goes back to fix sections that aren't even so that everything matches!! The other stylist that braided my hair before didn't do that. She also didn't walk me through the process either but Tiffany did. She told me step by step of what she was doing with my hair, made sure that I was ok with the tugging and sectioning cuz I have THICC Hawaiian hair hunty! Overall, Tbraids gets the job done and she's super aloha which is hard to come by nowadays. We just walaau and listened to music the whole time, it was great!
