I'm new to Denver and I'm used to getting my boba drinks in the Bay Area where it's more well known. I came in today looking to see if this would be my new boba spot and it IS. I forgot to get the name of the worker at the counter but it seems like she might be the owner or manager. She greeted me warmly and I was contemplating if I should get a passionfruit tea. I told her I'm not a fan of the green tea used at most boba shops because it's bitter and she assured me that the way she makes it will not be bitter and it's the best! She was very confident that I'd like it so I took her suggestion and ordered it. Before she sealed my cup she gave me a sample of my drink to make sure I liked the taste. AND SHE WAS RIGHT! It's was so good , not too sweet (I told her I don't like sweet stuff) and not bitter at all! She was so nice to me and I'm for sure going to order a passionfruit tea every time I visit!! read more

Stopped by as I was in the area and wanted to try a different boba place. Was not disappointed at all. I had the jasmine milk tea, less sugar with tapioca and matcha latte with red bean and lychee jelly. Also had the Taiwanese chicken, a little spicy, crispy and delicious. Lady at the counter is kind of rude. She was very short with me and demeaning as if it was burden for her to have to make me a smoothie.

I come here all the time for milk tea, smoothies, and juices and I love it. The people who work here are so nice and make excellent drinks. I have gone to some of the other boba and smoothie options around and nothing tastes more fresh than something from here and so well priced. The vanilla milk tea is also one of my favorites and and it is always so good and not too sweet which is why I come here. :) read more

The quality of the ingredients here are really good! I was surprised at how good everything tasted. I got the split cup with Jasmine Milk Green Tea and Passionfruit tea. I never give 5 stars but if I did this would be 5 Star. I have a new favorite treat! Lychee Lime Green tea with Aloe. So deliciously floral, fresh and not too sweet. I wish I knew the calories? One of my favorite places to get a fruity tea. This location has a very spacious interior so it doesn't feel claustrophobic when it's busy. The manager is extraordinarily nice and knowledgeable with the menu. Each time I go there I try a different fruit tea and every time I'm left satisfied and refreshed. None of the teas are overly sweet and each one tastes exactly how you would think it would. My personal favorite is the lime lychee tea. read more

I loved the panda tea because it's unique. There is also popcorn chicken so not only tea and boba. This is my favorite milk tea place in Colorado. It was hard finding a good milk tea and boba place in Colorado after moving from California. They also have board games and even a pool table for you to enjoy while waiting for your drink to enjoy! The owner, Theresa, is very friendly and knows us very well since we go there every other Saturday. It's in a nice location and they keep the place clean even when people can leave a pretty big mess. They take good care of the place and have nice decorations and paintings of timeless on the walls. They write about the history of Tbaar for everyone to see. There is a nice variety of teas, snacks, and food. It's a nice place to hang out with friends and family and relax. read more

Very clean and nice restaurant. Cute inside. But they didn't have strawberry milk tea which is my favorite. Our biggest complaint is the rude lady that we ordered from. We some friends that have never had boba tea and they had a lot of questions and she was rude and seemed exasperated with us. Then I didn't add a tip to my order and when I turned the payment screen back to her she sighed and started talking in another language to her co worker making us think she was mad we didn't leave a tip. Anyway-- give it a try if you like boba tea but we won't be going back. read more

I can understand negative perceptions of the staff but I personally don't see it... they are not cold, they get your drinks done efficiently, and if you small talk with them they are very pleasant. I was spoiled with amazing boba in Southern California and had yet to find boba that lived up to that in Colorado until I stumbled upon TBAAR. I love the fruit teas here. They always taste very fresh. The chunks of fruit still have their color which means they weren't just soaking in the tea all day. I've also had the matcha which is very good as well. The boba is cooked a good consistency with a nice chew. read more

The shop is cute w tons of variety. I ordered simple black tea w bubble. Tapioca is very inconsistent- some prices are so over cooked that they are just mush gel and others are so undercooked that they are more similar to stale licorice. Also the flavor is cappuccino instead of black milk tea. I would not recommend. read more

I ordered a hot green tea with honey. I liked the servers attitude. I didn't really like the way the tea taste it was like potpourri or something. Maybe next time I'll try something else because the atmosphere was nice and everybody else seemed to be enjoying themselves. read more

I always ordered the panda milk green tea, and even though I asked for 50% sugar, multiple times, the drink still came out overly sweet. The customer service was terrible. My friend and I used to go every week, and the lady in the front always had an attitude. When my friend tried to redeem her reward, she told my friend some BS and refused to honor the stamp card. From reading the reviews, it seemed like couple people also experienced the same stamp card reward BS. Seriously if they don't want to give out free stuff, then just don't offer the stamp card reward in the first place! I don't know why the lady in the front is always so stuck up and doesn't seem to care about customer service at all. With that being said, if you want to be treated like nobody, then go there, but otherwise I highly recommend the Tbaar in Aurora, just about 15 mins away from this location. That one is much better! I got the Apple green tea with pearls, the tea was very good and refreshing and the pearls were pretty average for Denver area (not the softest nor sweet but it hits the spot). I also got the fried chicken wings which I DEFINITELY recommend. It's a must try. I got the medium spice and it tastes exactly like authentic Taiwanese/HK style chicken wings. This place is really cool with a great atmosphere, plenty of seating, and games. The man at the front counter was very nice and welcoming and took the time to explain the whole menu to us since it was our first time:) But the reason I am giving it a 2/5 was because we ordered a large wheatgrass smoothie that had a bunch of greens and banana and we added papaya. We paid just over $10 for a large (I think the small was just a dollar cheaper). The smoothie had no flavor and tasted like ice. I asked another lady that worked there if it had ice in it and she basically said 'yes, how else does it get cold?' I have been to over 100 smoothie and juice places because I happen to LOVE green smoothies and always look for new places, and they have NEVER added ice to the smoothies. It waters them down and makes them disgusting. The normal and correct way is to use frozen fruit or veggies, even just a couple frozen pieces does the trick! Anyway, huge disappointment and overpriced, but I hope they change so they get better reviews and more service. read more

The Matcha and mango crepe cakes are fairly big slices, very delicate, creamy. The crepes were soft yet tension. I recommend pairing the mango one with a scoop peanut butter. I used Jif but a creamy Skippy will do just as fine. Dip your fork prongs into heated peanut butter then into the layer cake. Their tea is strong and fragrant. I also love that they offer fresh fruit drinks.
