I love Micheal and his attention to detail. He helped my husband find my Mark Schneider engagement ring and band - They are simply stunning!

I have been going to Welling & Co. for 15 years now. Most of the time, Bill Welling himself is out…read moreon the floor and I have had the good fortune of dealing with him directly. The very first time I visited his store, Bill talked me through the purchase of a gorgeous engagement ring. I hand selected the diamond, with his guidance, and then matched the setting and the ring exactly the way I wanted and had it made. It was very well received and the engagement was a success. Unfortunately, two months later, the disengagement was just as successful. Nothing to be held against Welling & Co. though. I have been back several times since then and always manage to find something nice. I had heard that his location recently moved but I wasn't sure exactly where. I just happened to drive by this week and saw the new location, turned around, and stopped in. It just so happened that I needed some inspiration for an upcoming Christmas gift for my wife. Immediately upon walking in I could see that they had the building interior completely redone. It is absolutely gorgeous. Not long while inside, I was approached by Bill. We got to speaking about his recent move and he told me that he had been thinking about a move and the opportunity came up to purchase this building and it was the best possible scenario for him. Having been in his last two locations, I have to agree. This building and the way it has been designed really goes along with the quality of jewelry that Welling offers. You don't feel like you are in an average mall jewelry store. You are in a high-end jewelry store, and it shows everywhere you look. You cannot walk by one display in the store and not have at least three things or more catch your eye. He has some beautiful pieces on display. As he has done in the past, Bill walked me through a number of options for what I was looking for until I finally settled on what I wanted. And as always, what I walked out with is beautiful. I'm going to have to keep it under wraps what I walked out with, because the gift has yet to be given. But they are beautiful and I cannot wait. (Pictures to be posted later) Would I go back? Definitely. I've been going back for years. And it is such a pleasure to go back into this beautiful new location. I can't wait to take my wife. Well... maybe. Keep this in mind though. Visit his website to get an idea of the different collections and types of jewelry he offers. Welling & Co. offers many price levels of jewelry but I would say you would consider this, again, more of a high-end jewelry store. You absolutely get what you pay for here. In most cases in life, I'm a firm believer of that motto. Wellings offers quality pieces. Custom options as well as collections. Absolutely worth a visit, for any occasion.

I usually dont write a review until I've completed business. However, I'm making an exception…read morebecause the attention to detail and attentive-ness of these fine folks is remarkable. I recently accepted a project, from my Grandmother to get her ring repaired. (Read my next review why this was a "project") Well, I took it to Keva around 2:00p,m. today, got the estimate (because they have an onsite Jeweler-like you would expect from a jewlery store). Carla, was not only prompt in welcoming me to the store but was friendly as well. We had a laugh when she asked "Are you wanting it repaired or wanting to sell it?" because in all honesty, I just laid it on the counter and started rambling. Not telling her what I wanted at all. She took it over to Kevin the Jeweler, he took a look at it,came to the counter, introduced himself and explained what needed to be done. "One prong. $xx.xx amount the other three as well, $xx.xx amount" Cleaning, something else and something else included. I cant remember now. And I was on my way to confirm with my Grandmother the service and date the job was expected completed. I came back 15 minutes later, they had the job. They've actually been in business over 20 years. They had a small shop, over near a Dr. Office park. And moved to Jungle Jims somewhat recently.(There not in the Grocery itself. Their to the right of CiCis pizza. About in the smack dab center of the shopping strip) When you enter the shop, you'll think it's a mall Jeweler. Bright lights, modern/contemporary design. Very professional appearance. Kevin works on the jewelery in the open, but near the corner he's got his work station setup. You can tell he's a perfectionist by how clean the area is. And they are animal lovers. They've got a German Shepard, that patrols the back of the cases and is friendly without being annoying (licking your face, barking while your trying to talk. Pros-Attentiveness, prices, explanation of services, cleanliness. Variety of different types/styles of jewelry. (not a ton of one style and only one of something else.) ability to make custom settings on the spot. (see my next review why I'll never go to a shipping house jeweler again), an estimate in under 10 minutes, no pressure sales approach. Cons- Unless I over looked it, not a big selection of Mens jewelery. -----------------once I receive the ring back I'll update on quality of work------------------- Edit: I got the ring back recently and my Grandmother had an ear to ear smile. I thought the ring was a gift from my Grandpa, it was from her Grandmother. It's at least 65 years old, however after getting it back from Keva, it looked like a brand new ring. When I got it back, Kevin explained what all he had done with the setting, showed where one of the above mentioned prongs needed tightened and made the main diamond shine like a new car on a clear day. Kevin takes time to chat with His Customers. He wants you to come back, and it shows in His handling and explanation. My ring was a small potatoes job for him, however I felt like I was a priority because of his and Carlas attentiveness and willingness to listen and explain. The only days they are closed, Sunday and Monday.

Outstanding service and top quality workmanship. I took my wife's diamond bracelet in to have it…read morerepaired, it had some stones missing. When I got it back in a couple of weeks it looked like new. She was so pleased and happy and so was I. I had previously taken it to several local Dayton area jewelry shops and they all told me that it couldn't be repaired because the diamonds had a unique shape and were not available anymore. Keva not only found the stones but replaced them with expert precision. The bracelet looked like it had never been damaged at all! I will never take any jewelry for repairs to any other jeweler. Their prices are absolutely reasonable. Try them out you won't be disappointed.
