Did they try to steal parts off my 2020 CRV? Brought my 2020…read moreCRV in for a routine oil change and brake fluid change. I watched the technician struggle to remove the front shield to access the oil filter. I watched him pull the shield down and struggle to pull the front off, which I found peculiar because all you do, is unbolt the shield and it should drop straight down. He then inspected the shield, showed it to another technician and placed it aside. He then proceeded to do the oil change, and when he was finished, he backed the vehicle out of the bay without replacing the shield. I brought this to the attention of the service advisor. He immediately went out to see what the problem was. After a few minutes he brought the shield in to show me that the screw holes were damaged and that it could not be reinstalled in this condition. He then proceeded to tell me that It was caused by road damage when you could clearly see that the front mounting had been twisted and freshly broken away from the bolt. I would also mention that this vehicle has only ever been touched by Honda technicians. He still tried to convince me that it was road damage, and I told him that I watched the technician bend and pull the shield off the vehicle. He also tried to convince me that I could just drive it without the shield. At no time did the service technician bring the part to the service advisor and he was going to leave it off without telling me. The service advisor, then went back to speak with somebody (I assume it was a service manager) and when he came back out, he told me that he would order a new part and call me when it comes in. No apologies or explanation as to why the technician was going to keep the part. All I can say is that Kingston Honda's service department has a long way to go before they ever regain my trust and I can't wait for my warranty to expire so I can have it serviced someplace else!

Their customer service is incredible! Mika especially. I'm unsure of his title exactly, but he was…read morevery knowledgeable and went above and beyond for my old Honda Accord. Because the previous owners had bought it there, he was so very accommodating and did some minor work on it- during his lunch break! Now, don't expect this everytime of course.. but I really thought it was worth noting the exemplary customer service demonstrated that day. I greatly appreciate every employee I interacted with that day, but a huge shoutout to Mika!!! Thank you Mika!! :)

Spoke to Peter today about my 2015 Dodge Ram that was having transmission problems. Their…read moretransmission person was on holidays so they sourced it out for repairs only to be advised that the people they sent it to were too busy to start repairs for two weeks. Peter offered a loaner truck until mine came back which was more than a fair offer and more than I have received at any other dealership I have ever dealt with. Fortunately I did not sell or trade in ( and never will) my 2005 Dodge Ram so I do not require a loaner at this time. Peter said if I change my mind to call back and he would make it happen. From the original purchase of my Dodge too now; Kingston Dodge have been nothing but helpful and accommodating. Also don't know why this shows I am in San Francisco.......I am in Kingston Ontario Canada

Extremely poor customer service. General Manager gives little priority to service customers. He…read morewill defer any mistakes back to you and anyone else he can point a finger at. When McDonalds makes a mistake on a drive through order, "Sorry" is adequate; I think something more than an insincere and cowardly apology is required when an automobile dealership/service centre turns a quick recall/oil change into a broken truck and lost work time on Monday (and beyond?), leaves your work truck unlocked in an ungated yard with valuable tools inside ("That's what insurance is for" they will tell you) ("We do lock checks every night!" Well i guess not when the service guys are taking off Friday evening), and makes insufficient attempts to contract the vehicle's driver when a fleet service (providing reduced profit margains) is involved. Oh and when they ask you if you will need a shuttle when you book an appointment, they will not have a shuttle there for you at that appointment time. When you tell them you are calling a cab, they won't give you a cab voucher. I guess that small luxury is a thing of the past. The General Manager actually threatened to call the Police when I said I would leave this 1 star review. Just stay clear folks.

Sales: We walked in from the street, knowing what we wanted, took very little time to decide, and purchased the car with minimal fuss - was told we didn't need winter tires because this car came with 'all season' tires which were adequate for winter (I'm not a Canadian and I'm quite trusting of expertise - so that cost me $2K last month when I realized winter tires are named that for a reason). When we came to collect, we found the experience to be rushed, On pickup, sales guy was running late to pick kids up, rushed the plates on our $60K car, and told us to work out the tech package as it was intuitive. I felt completely flat about this experience. Winter tire fitting: So - got to dealership at 7:30am, shuttle went 'everywhere', including East. Driver was a legend, but I could tell he was upset about this too - I got to work at 10:20am, having cancelled an important meeting. First service: Rude lady on the phone - I asked for someone else, who wouldn't be barking down the phone at me, she is the only service coordinator. She kept asking which service I wanted, I told her I was responding to the notification that my car gave me. She then asked for milage, which I gave pretty accurately, and she told me I must be mistaken. Shocked. This place is a sh*tshow. The only shimmer of light was the finance guy (who'd just moved to Toyota from Chevy) - that guy was great, but can't remember name. I think there's a Toyota garages in Belleville, in Napanee - hell - go to Ottawa... These small town chumps are the worst.
