Visiting town for a tennis tournament at Baylor and needed a ride to my hotel at 10p on a rainy Saturday night. Dispatcher was courteous and called me back to confirm arrival of cab and location. Cab was clean and driver was friendly. He told me cash only amd nothing more than $20 before we left. The dispatcher could have said that before sending the cab out in case i only had a credit card. We had a nice chat for the few minutes we rode together. Paid my fare, wished him well, and was on my way. Just as I had hoped. read more

This is apparently the only cab company in town, and boy do they know it. If you have to be somewhere at a certain time, I would schedule the pickup a half hour in advance, regardless of where in Waco you need to go. They are rarely on time, and the attitude of their drivers is hit or miss. I generally call on them at once every week or two, for guests at my hotel. read more

This is one of the worst places in town. The gentlemen who was setting up the appointments lied to me on 3 occassions telling me that a taxi was on the way and he flat out lied. I did not ask for these lies. It is ridiculous that at his age he acted in this manner. He should be fired for telling someone a taxi is coming, having them wait, and never showing up. Then to top it off he proceeded to turn on the voicemail yhe rest of the day. Unfortunately he is an a lot of businesses in Waco, unprofessional, lazy, and flat out rude. VERY POOR customer service! They don't accept credit cards. I paid cash for my fare. I forgot to get a receipt and called later to get one and they said I need to come in to get one. Only problem is that I live in California! Cab and driver were dirty/ unkept. read more

Riding in a Yellow Cab was a very scary experience! It was akin to some ride @ 6 Flags! We were jerked from side to side & the driver took down traffic cones like a bowling ball. We kept asking the guy "Are you OK?" We even yelped in fear when he aimed the car @ a big construction barrel on IH 35. DONT RIDE WITH YELLOW CAB! read more

Call Uber ~ seriously! I can't even list all the reasons: old vehicle, dirty, could see engine light on, dispatcher said cost would be 23.00 and the actual fee 33.50, driver seemed to be in a hurry (possibly speeding). Did not feel comfortable at all! Rent a car - anything but this. read more

The taxi arrived in about 15 minutes with an SUV, but the driver didn't know how to open the back hatch to put luggage in, and the 3rd row seats were up, so there was no room anyway. I had to load luggage myself by lifting them over the back seat into the 3rd row. The SUV was FILLED with garbage! The driver just said "yeah, sorry". I had to remove the garbage from the front seat myself. I really have never seen so much trash in a car before. REALLY GROSS! when we got to the hotel, the driver just sat there while I dragged 4 suitcases out over the back seat. Then, he couldn't give me a receipt. I've used this company at least 50 times, at first they were on time mostly but then they started to arrive super SUPER late and sometimes whey would miss my appointment even though i signed up for one A DAY before and they are still late as hell. Yea they know they are the only cab in town so they have an attitude. I think I've been close of missing my ride (to the greyhound, that's where i go) to my bus because they are late, so now i call just like 2 hours before, because i know they are going to be late no matter what... read more

Wow! My cab arrived in approximately 10 minutes. I have never had a cab that fast in this city. I have used this service for over 20 years. Way to go Yellow Cab! One other thing I might point out is that this company has a good record of hiring people who have had setbacks in life, some of their own doing. But, this company gives people a chance to start over. Today I am proud of Yellow Cab. Keep up the good work. read more

I called to make a "reservation" for a cab for a dinner event. The man on the phone was extremely rude. He told me that they don't do reservations for restaurants...so I asked how long it might take to get a driver out here in an hour and he said "I don't know, it might take an hour by that time." Extremely rude!!!!!! Sadly, there are not many other choices when looking for cabs in Waco. read more

I have nothing nice to say. I have become a regular rider and the service is getting worse. I work at a hotel and if they weren't the only operation in town, I would NEVER call them for guests! Grumpy drivers and rude dispatcher. I called at 6am for a 7am pick up and he said "no, just call when you are ready." Well lately when I call when I am ready, he will say that they are busy and they will get to me when they can and often that is an hour later. The last time they were on time, the driver had another person in the backseat! If i wanted to subsidize someone else' fare I would call Obama. I didn't get in. People use them for work, they should think about this. Get more drivers and cars and a customer friendly dispatcher. Unfortunately, I have to utilize them until I get another car. :( Their service is not a good look for the Waco area. Absolutely HORRIBLE service. Only cab company in town with three cabs. I'm currently stuck in the Waco Regional Airport stuck on stand-by because I missed my flight because of them. Waited an hour for them to come pick me up and arrived at the airport fifteen minutes before my flight. Waste of money, just absolutely HORRIBLE AND FULL OF CRAP. NEVER AGAIN! It's not the best cab company there is, but they get you from point A to point B. The business doesn't take in enough revenue to give the drivers decent pay so they tend to find long routes and overcharge whenever possible. You may or may not get good service, depending on how far your destination is (=how much money they stand to recieve from you). They realize that if you call them that you have exausted all other resources as a mode of transportation so they subtly take advantage of that. In closing, I think all cab companies are relatively questionable and this one is no different. read more

They have been nothing but rude to me for the last ten years that I've had to use them! The dispatchers obviously have a chip on their shoulders and most of the drivers are dumb and extremely mouthy! It's easy to be insulted, lied to, lied about, argued with and blown off like the customers are not important! Yesterday, the woman dispatcher made me wait for an hour and forty minutes for a cab to take me home! And I needed to get home to do my work on my computer! Consequentially, I got ZERO work done! Then later, Mom and I went to Golden Corral and the very second we got into the cab, the driver started an argument with me and accused me of slamming the door earlier! You have to slam it a little bit because if you don't, the doors don't close all the way! He also insulted me, lied to and about me, and said, and I quote, "You're not supposed to argue back!" I was just going to ignore him, but he wouldn't let me! We argued all the way to the restaurant! Today I called in defense of myself and they lied and said I cussed out the dispatched and was very rude! I did not cuss her out! They lie! They also informed me that I am not to ride the taxis anymore! Do they own that company?! Can they do that?! I only ride because my mother is elderly and cannot walk very far and we have no car! Otherwise, I wouldn't mess with them for one second! The drivers are low I.Q., tattooed and they and the dispatchers stick together like glue! Worst cab ever! Arrived on time, no credit card only cash, did not receive a receipt, stunk like smoke and ashtray making my asthma flare up! My clothes and hair smelled of smoke when dropped off at the airport for a long day of travel. Driver was eating and drinking a beverage while driving in the rain....never again! read more

I have no idea how this cab service even got 3 stars. The cab driver was rude and the cab smelled terrible!! Also, they take cash only but don't bother to tell you that until you are in the cab. Of course, they will charge you to take you to an ATM. I called Care Transportation after my bad experience with yellow cab and they were great. read more
