Our hostel host pointed us here, and the second we stepped in, we were greeted by Jaguars jerseys on the wall, Mark Brunell and Jimmy Smith. Then we got seated, and right above our table was Fred Taylor's Florida Gators jersey along with a picture of the Swamp. All three of us at the table were Jacksonville guys, so between the Jags gear and the Gators tie-in, it felt like home before we'd even ordered. We all got the wings, and they were excellent. This place oven roasts them first, then fries to crisp up the skin, no breading involved, and that combination does something special to the flavor. Best wings I've had in a while. One of my buddies also ordered a margarita and said it was excellent. Service was great throughout, and the price landed right in that sweet spot, not cheap, but not expensive for what we got either. Fair value across the board. If you're ever in Franklin and want a spot that feels like home even when you're hundreds of miles from it, this is the place.

We could walk here if we wanted and we are big fans of that. We came in when they had first opened so they were still figuring things out which I completely understand plus the hurricane coming through recently did help either. Looking over the menu they have a lot of your typical bar/pub options but a few you don't always find too. Looking for the drinks I was able to find my classic for Sylva but with a new name this time. At the Junction Pub it goes by the Loose Caboose which is a shot (for me Whiskey of course) and a beer which I picked Busch Light. You can't beat it. Our waitress brought our drinks and we ordered. I ended up going with the wings (12) tossed in Honey Sriracha. Our food came out pretty quickly which was nice. The sauce for the wings was good. Spicy with a nice sweetness but not overly sweet which can sometimes happen. For sure still had the kick I wanted. The wings for the most part were good. Cooked perfectly and nice and crispy. I will say I few of them were on the smaller side but you also got some monsters too to even it out. The service was excellent, and our waitress was extremely friendly and help us with questions throughout our meal. For sure a nice local pub we will be coming to often.

That said, I have to be honest -- the smash burger was mid. It wasn't bad, but it definitely didn't feel worth the price. For what you pay, I expected a little more flavor and overall quality. The fries came in smaller portions, but they were actually pretty good -- crispy and well cooked. One downside was the wait time. The food took a good amount of time to come out, even though there were only two other groups in the restaurant. The place isn't bad by any means, but I do feel like there are better options in the area. Walk-On's right down the road is one I'd probably choose over it.

The decor is definitely a bar vibe, but there is a contained porch where you can get a decent view. The waitress was nice, and service was fine, but my impression was that management neither knows, nor cares about, food sensitivities. After discussion, the waitress suggested a Caesar salad, instead of a wrap, due to gluten intolerance. It was served with croutons. Though hubby has no sensitivities, neither of us would wish to return.
