She never helped me with anything or gave me any good advice which I needed from a real doctor. Her knowledge is quite limited regarding healthy living, nutrition, lifestyle, culture. When I did have a problem, she lied outright, saying she could take care of it "easy Peezy" only to put me off and eventually refer me to a specialist who no longer works in this town, which caused a a delay of months. Her only response was that I could go to ER if I chose. I am surprised that she is still working after reading several reviews dating back over five years. All the reviews I read were bad, the same as mine. Buyer beware and keep looking.

She drew blood to conduct an in-depth analysis of what might be causing symptoms I hoped to correct. When we reviewed the blood results, she promised to follow-up by sending me three things that would explain how to interpret the results and effectively use the supplements I was taking. (She also sold me supplements.) She never has sent me the promised information to understand to test results, nor has she ever responded to me to explain why she abruptly ceased communicating with me. I sent her several more email reminders. I also called and stopped by her office to confirm that she was still working there. Both times, office staff assured me that they were texting her my requests and concerns.

I also suspect that quite a few are not willing to undergo the necessary and rigorous process to determine the validity of their complaint. Vanessa follows very specific guidelines to ensure accurate diagnosis and treatment protocols. I find her to be compassionate and understanding of the difficulties dealing with actual chronic pain. Appointments are timely. The only time I have ever had to wait 5 or 10 minutes past my scheduled appointment time, is due to Vanessa spending some extra time working with a patient in need. I commend her for that. Lastly, several people seem to have an issue with the gentleman who answers her phone. Every time I have called, Mike answers promptly. Never had a problem making an appointment. He's succinct and friendly. Is it the fact that he has a slight accent that cause some people's dismay? If so, they might have more issues than just pain... All in all, if you are truly experiencing pain, Vanessa can help. If not, good luck.

I have to say that Dr. Ames is the most caring and thorough doctor I've ever had. I have severe depression and anxiety. If I did not have this man in my life, I may not be here today. Dr. Kaplan is a straight shooter! I adore her and is the perfect doctor for my husband. Some people need to hear the truth about their unhealthy life style and help to go about changing it. She will not hesitate to tell you, but she also offers help and solutions. She is not quick to give antibiotics and I think that's very important, so if your looking for a doctor who is going to give you whatever you think you need, then don't go see her, because she won't fall for that self treatment crap. This woman is an excellent doctor and if you decide to see her, do what she tells you!!! All of you who are writing bad review about this clinic are mistaken. Yes I do have good insurance, but these people are absolutely the best at what they do and sincerely care about the people they treat.

I now, at 58 years of age find myself without a primary care physician. My biggest complaint with this situation is I was never informed I was being removed as a patient of Dr Erde. As a patient I have the right to change PCPs and physicians have the right to fire patients. But should not a physician you trust with your health have some loyalty to you as a patient over what $ you bring to the practice. Their recommended transport services were not available, so the office staff would not allow me to be seen, even though my taxi driver had first aid training. The office manager kept saying that I should have called to schedule one of their cabs earlier? 2 weeks isn't enough? If I can get myself there, I can get myself home, regardless of what taxi I take. Why are they releasing patients at all, if the patient is still incapacitated from sedation? I was without food or sleep for 3 days prior to this procedure, and was not in any condition for this manager to be chastising me on what cab I used! She ended up frustrated, and kept saying 'Do you want to reschedule?' Obviously she has never experienced a colonoscopy, and No, I did not want to reschedule. I had been in there twice before, once for a C/O and once for a gastric surgery to prevent a cancer from growing. That surgery went bad and I ended up in the hospital for 6 days. So Yes, I'd been there before. No, I've had enough of OEC, and frankly, I'd rather get cancer than go there again!
