I decided to use tattoo machine since they were at Washington Summer Con and my friend recieved a couple con tatoo's from Will that looked good, but that was not my experience. The tatoo i got was just the outline of Mickey Mouse probably about the size of a quarter all filled in black and now that it is healing it looks awful. The ears are completely uneven as well as the face. Luckily talking with my employer who is a skilled tattoo artist I will be able to get it fixed by her. I will not be going to Tattoo Machinr again not only was the work not good but the customer interaction was questionable as well. i know it was a con which may be different then going to a shop but looking through all Will's photos I think he needs more pratice before he takes to poeple's skin. read more

Do NOT go here for a piercing, the man that pierced me told me he has been piercing for 17 years yet as he was piercing my mom and I he was shaking in his absolute boots, said nothing to me to make me feel comfortable nor did he give me a step by step process of how he was going to pierce me. For a piercing as simple as my second holes it shouldn't be that hard or scary for him to do such thing. Not only was he shaking the entire time with a needle next to my ear, he practically gaged my ear with a huge needle, and gave me the shortest bar possible with screw on balls, of course this resulted with my ear swelling over the piercing and completely rejecting it which gave me no option but to pull the bar and the balls screwed on straight through my ear. My ears have not had a single good day since I got pierced here and I currently have to take my right second hole piercing out too. My bar gave me absolutely no space to swell and did not have a flat earring back on the opposite end of the piercing. I couldn't warn somebody enough, please do not waste your time here & drive the extra miles to a different piercing place. read more

Wish I could give zero stars. Brian severely screwed up my tattoo. Every 6 months for 7 years I kept asking when he would fix it. Said he would pay for the laser to remove what he messed up and then redo that part. He wore me down. Terrible work ethic. He's just angry and bitter all the time. Refuses to take responsibility for his mistakes. Don't ever go there. If he screws up, he won't compensate or fix it for you. On your Mark, get set, terrible. As seen attached, the right side of the initials is supposed to look just like the left side. Right side is oversized as he worked on it, patterns don't like up at all, and the knotwork got ridiculously sloppy. He's a baby and a jerk and his work is sub-par read more

May 7, 2012 - I went to the Tattoo Machine (2 years ago) off of a recommendation from a friend. The shop suggested Brian as the artist (and owner) for my particular tattoo, a Celtic Knot work armband around my left arm with a design (badge) of my son's initials on the outside facing part of my arm. I met with Brian and gave him the artwork that I already had worked up with another friend, so I already knew going into this that this is what I wanted. Brian re-drew the artwork and it looked great, just what I had envisioned. What was actually tattooed on my arm was not the same thing. As mentioned, the tattoo was an armband, and on the outside of my arm and the artwork, there was a design that incorporated my son's initials. That facing design and the first half of the armband looks great. So, from the facing design, around the front of my arm, to right under the armpit, is all great. The Celtic knot work is just supposed to be mirrored on the other side of my arm from under the armpit, around the back, and then link right back to the facing design in the front. That's not what happened. The knot work design is about 2 inches thick in the front, and 3 inches in the back. He just kept making it wider and wider as he went around. And the design was not mirrored, and was actually backwards from what went on the front. I couldn't see it while he was doing it as it was on the backside of my arm, and then it was wrapped up, so I didn't notice it until I started applying the lotion to it for healing. I was upset and shot Brian an email one night telling him I was upset and not happy with my new tat. He got right back to me and said he takes this kind of thing very seriously. He asked me to come in so he could take a look, and within a couple days I was back in the shop. He looked at it and agreed that he made a mistake. He said he had a friend that did Laser Removal and said he would pay to have the "error" part of my tat removed and then he would re-do that area. Great, let's do it. Months went by, I reached out again, he said he forgot. He asked me to come in again, so I went in for some pics so that he could show his removal person. More time goes by, I reach out again, he says he'd been busy but he will make this a priority. From the time I got my tat, there were probably 3-4 times in a 6 month period where I keep trying to reach out to him and I was told he was working on it or something. I then let him be the one to reach out to me next. It has now been 1.5 years since the last time I contacted him, and just tried to reach out to him again this last weekend, and he has not even acknowledged me. I was giving him the benefit of the doubt because I know how busy people can be, but now this is flat out lying and he is just avoiding me. It's now been 2 years since my tat was done (incorrectly) and Brian promised to "fix" this and make it right, but yet I have heard nothing. I'm pretty sure he never intended to help me in the first place and was just trying to wear me down. I cannot even begin to describe how angry I am at the dishonesty and terrible artwork this shop, specifically Brian, has bestowed upon me. Now I have a half-good/half-bad tattoo that I will have to pay someone else to remove the bad part, and then go to another artist to re-do the artwork. I'm almost OK with it (if it wasn't so expensive to remove tats), as at this point, I'm pretty sure that I don't even want Brian to re-do it anyway in case he messes things up again. Beware, Brian may have done some good work in the past, but I guarantee that he can mess up pretty good too. Do you really want to gamble that with something permanent? UPDATE 8/15/12: Within a week or so from the original post above, I finally got a hold of Brian. He claimed that it just slipped his mind AGAIN. I gave him one more chance. He claimed that he really does want to make it right. I gave him the benefit of the doubt. After 2-3 more times of me trying to get a hold of him over a month's time, he failed to make good on this original offer. It's now been 3 more months, and nothing. I originally was not going to post this since I had gotten a hold of Brian again, but now that he is ignoring his customer again, this review is being posted. I believe I have been incredibly patient, and I can't stand it anymore, people need to know what they are getting into if they go here. My suggestion, don't even step in the door. read more

Don't waste your money. Made an appt. with Sean the first time to get the outline of my tattoo (which I like) then scheduled the next to get the color and shading done. I showed up and only one artist was tattooing and Sean never showed up. I stayed for 30 minutes while she tried to get him on the phone but couldn't then she told me that she would have him call me. He still hasn't and that was over a week ago. Every time I call he is never working. I'll be going somewhere else next time. read more

What can I say except the clean cut guy is an ass hole. My wife and I went in there today 12/26/2011 to inquire about not one but 2 tattoo's. One for me and one for my daughter. Being that I have only one tattoo and I might ad I received it well over 20 years ago. Anyways we went in with a few questions and the guy acted like we were bugging him. We got there right as they opened and there was no other customers in the shop. Once again mind you we are new to this thing so we had a few questions. We were told the rate for them was $120 per hour and the work I was seeking would take about 4 hours, we said ok. They went onto say they couldn't do it then because they would have to draw it up, and once again we said fine. We were then asked to make a $20 deposit and once again be did. My wife and I left with an appointment in hand for New Years eve. After we left my wife and I just to happen by another tattoo shop," All Star Tatto". Now keep in mind my wife and I went in just to look and there was a guy inside doing work on a customer who very nicely greeted us. I told him I had a few questions but would wait until he had a minute. To my delight and surprise he was more then happy to help us all the while working on someone else. Needless to say I received my "Michael the Arch Angel" tattoo, my daughter got her tattoo, both of them were done with great detail for a grand total of $500 and completed in less then 3 hours! I got my first piercing here (belly button) a while back and they did not sell me any solution to maintain the piercing and keep it clean!! They just told me to go to any old grocery store and buy sea salt. Being new to this it wasn't that easy as I had a difficult time finding the product to clean it. I wasn't helped that well and was given very poor cleaning instructions and in the end my piercing became infected so I let it heal over. Thanks for the scar. I had my first tattoo today with Shawn and he was great. It was cheaper than the other places that I went to. My mother got a tattoo too and he took his time to make it right and improved her design. He made me feel comfortable and the shop as a whole had a great attitude and I would be comfortable getting my next tattoo from anyone in the place. read more

Very disappointed with this establishment. Didn't even end up getting my work done here. First of all, when I arrived to set up an appointment, I was treated like a bother and was not greeted when I came in. After standing for 5 minutes without being helped, I finally found someone to help me. This is my first tattoo, so I had several questions. I do not feel like the artist took the time to answer my questions, and felt again like the employees were annoyed by my business. Ended up setting an appt anyways, and put down a $20 deposit. Called and emailed several times for additional questions and to set up a time to come look at the drawing of my tattoo... Never heard a single word back. At the end of the day, I'd rather lose my $20 deposit instead of investing my money into a shop that doesn't seem to give a shit about their customers. If you're looking for a shop that is going to treat you like a respectable human, don't go to TM. read more
