I've had lots of ink done at a few different shops in the area and most offer the tats she got for half or 60% of what they charged her . Wanted to get a tattoo with friends while I was in town for the weekend. Called to make an appointment and was told to just "come in at 1 as a walk in". We did that and stood there for thirty minutes until someone finally decided to come see what we wanted. Was told someone would be with us in a bit and then we sat there for an hour with no one saying anything to us. Several people came and left because there was no one at the desk and no one could be bothered to come out and ask what they could help them with. Completely unprofessional and rude. When I got there, the place was really chill and the staff were super friendly. James, who did my tattoo, was awesome! I told him that I haven't had a tattoo done in many years, and he said that I came to the right place. I showed him what I wanted, and he said no problem. I bought my son-in law a gift certificate for Christmas. I spoke to the artist about what he was looking for and he was eager to sell me the gift card. There was an advertised special which seemed like a great deal. However when it came to actually getting the tattoo done, the artist was never willing to give him a proper appointment but suggested that he needed to squeeze him in so my son-in-law would have to call to see if he could get him in. He was finally able to do the work and while it achieved the cover up he was looking for, the work appears very amateur. Ridiculous business practices. Today a special was posted on social media for $30 name tattoos-Walk ins only. Arrived and was told that deal didn't start till 3 PM.(which was not said in original offer). On top of that we stood at the front desk for about 10 minutes before anyone asked what we were there for her to begin with. Other customers waiting as well. One of them said they were told the shop didn't even have running water so they had to wait on that to start any tattoos. I searched for seven months, for a place that I thought would give me the quality and care, that I wanted, for my memorial body art. We had the most amazing customer service from everyone working there. Went in for a tattoo, matching the one my dad had on his arm, his entire life. It was very emotional, as he had passed away, seven months ago. Other, larger Tatoo companies, treated me like a number. This studio treated me like a valued person and this was an emotional memorial tatoo. James went through the design with me, tried to match it as close to my father's tattoo, as possible. Wonderful customer service. They were respectful, and shared with me, in the emotional experience that it was. I am very, very grateful! I went in to get a matching tattoo with some other members of my family. I have several ear piercings and was asked about my piercings. Mods-by-Medusa told me my daith piercing was done wrong by my previous piercer and gave me a free consultation on how to fix it. She also pierced my nose and did a FABULOUS job. Very professional, very clean, probably won't go anywhere else for my piercings. 10/10 would recommend. Also got matching tattoos with my mom and sis. super cool shop that does walk ins, Medusa did my bfs eyebrow piercing and he said it was painless...keep in mind literally everything is painful for him lol. There was no bruising and only minor swelling. It was his first piercing and she was super nice and friendly about explaining everything to him and walking him through it while she did it! I got tattooed by Matt on my chest and he was very nice and worked out a design I loved with the reference photos I showed him. I love my tattoo. Very nice shop excited to see what they do with it. I went to this shop for their Friday the 13th deals. when I got there, I put my name on a list. they said it would be two hour wait period. I was fine with that. left for an hour to get food, when I came back, they said there was ONE more person ahead of me. I was excited, right? they sent three people back before me. finally 2:00 am rolled around, there was myself and one other person waiting to get a tattoo. They informed us that the artists "tapped out" for the night but they would schedule me for a different day and honor the price. I picked the day, time, and artist I wanted. Two days later i went back, for the scheduled tattoo appointment. No one greeted me, I stood there probably 15-20 minutes be anyone actually acknowledged me at all. The artist I was SUPPOSED to see had an hour plus wait before she could do my tattoo. So they asked if I was okay with someone else doing it. I said sure and decided that was fine with me. The guy (Gary I believe?) did a great job but man was he unprofessional. I had a friend with me. We were sitting there, Gary was doing my tattoo when a lady walked in saying "Oh I thought you said you were done doing tattoos for the day?" he said "Well I thought I was too but then a bunch of people walked in at once and I got stuck doing another apparently". mind you the only people who "walked in at once" was a couple, which only one person was getting tattooed. then my friend and I. again only I was getting tattooed. super unpr to complain about doing your job while tattooin the very person you're complaining about. as if I wasn't sitting right there. read more
