Calamari appetizer as entree adding fries, making it $20, calamari tasty, asked for crispy fries but soft. Whiskey sour was just a sour $9

Mixed feelings this visit. Went last week about noon on weekday expecting to have their lunch special offered until 2:00 to be told it's only on weekends so we left. We go today ( Sun) and find breakfast ends now at 11:00! So they cut back the days and the time AND NO MORE VALUE BREAKFAST SPECIALS!! We aren't paying $20+ for breakfast. BJ's cafe has awesome food and great prices, $10 for Eggs Benedict and options even less. The deli's at both EQ's are overpriced as well, so disappointing when usually losing on the slots. You can at least have some fair prices on basic eats. I about died seeing $10 for cup of chowder in the deli, really? Anyway we had lunch today since it was after 11:00. Not even a sandwich option for under $18, ugh. I had fish/chips, the fish was good and tasted fresh. Hubby had the calamari and side fries. I asked for our fries to be extra crisps she obviously didn't make note to kitchen because we both got soft fries, ick. She was so busy we didn't bother telling her. Calamari good but small portion for $17, I gave him a piece of my fish even though I couldn't eat my fries. We ordered cocktail, worst old fashioned I've ever had... tasted like a plain watered down whisky, hubby's whisky sour was mainly an acid mixer. Certainly hated paying the charge for them. Usually we enjoy our meals here but today between the breakfast upset, menu options/prices, server rushed, and fries/cocktails improperly prepared it was disappointing experience.

Honestly. The atmosphere is nice but the food can use improvement. It's mad fresh but lacks flavor. Properly cooked but no seasonings. I was quite disappointed. This is a place you go when you aren't sober.

This grill is in the Casino and their dinner combos are great! Really reasonable amount for serving size and variety is unmatched. We got 2/3 starters-2/3 main entrees with a good combo of beef and chicken and shrimp! Great deal and good taste.

A mite pricey for an average breakfast - and $4.00 for cup of coffee?!?

The Emerald Queen Casino has long wanted this restaurant to come across as being fancy and classy, which the prices have usually reflected. However, overall, the meals there have always been relatively average and fairly high priced for what they are - particularly their breakfasts. Recently, my wife and I decided to dine here for the first time in a while. I went for bacon and eggs, while she went for steak and eggs. As you can see from the receipt, the total came to nearly 50 bucks - and then, when you add in four dollars for a cup of coffee, the price became ridiculous. Reality is, I could do far better and get a far better breakfast at the Poodle Dog Restaurant down the street for considerably less and it would be no less fancy than this glorified but rather ho-hum restaurant. PS: note to the tribe: if you're going to combine high prices with slow service, don't have three staff members hanging around the entry desk shooting the breeze and doing nothing while in sight of the customers. Not a good or encouraging look, y'know?

1st time trying. Glad we did. Had planned on a steak but noticed on the Asian menu they had a dinner for 2 family style $60 . Why not. So happy for the choice. Started with BBQ Pork and dumplings. Both were amazing but shocked by the pork. It was tender cuts of pork. Absolutely wonderful. Followed by fried rice and 4 dishes( pork, chicken, shrimp ,and beef) enough food for 4 and everything was spot on in flavor and texture. Our waiter Michael was great. Personable, polite ,professional and just what we needed.

As you can see the French fries are limpy and had no crisp to them, same issue with French fries with second sandwich we ordered
    Kay M.

As a self proclaimed connoisseur of Eggs Benedict and retired restaurant manager, this was probably one of the worst . The hashbrowns were barely cooked. The English muffin didn't seem toasted. The hollidaise sauce lacked flavor. The orange slices looked as if they'd been sitting out for a while. The French fries with the other two orders weren't crispy but limp, as you can see from photo. Our waiter seemed a bit short with us and brought the wrong bottle of wine I ordered. We weren't asked about our Players Club cards to get a discount. The view of the freeway surely didn't set a good ambiance either. This was a VERY disappointing Easter Brunch experience.

Came here for breakfast and had a good experience. Ordered the New York steak and eggs, chicken fried steak, & pancakes. All were hot and fresh. Portions were large and the food was tasty. Our server was quick and attentive. Venue was clean. Only complaint is that access to the restaurant elevator is through the smoking section of the casino floor.

We have tried this restaurant many times. Reason I'm writing this review is because of the great service we had from Debra. I wasn't sure our waitress name but on the receipt shows her name. Anyways, the food was good but the service was outstanding. Keep up the great job Debra. My wife tried Filet Mignon Oscar and she said it was okay. I tried the Crab Louie and it was what I expected. My wife and I loved the Crispy Garlic Drumettes. Just make sure to ask for the sweet chili sauce if they don't bring it.

Best HR we've ever had probably due to the crema and red sauce. Egg sandwich had unique flavors with the onion jam and the toasted roll was so perfect with the egg and arugula. Very well balanced. I usually never eat all the bread bc not worth the carbs but couldn't resist finishing this masterpiece. All the pastries were very good too! Just needed an option to warm up the orange cardamom morning bun to make it warm and crispy but the flavors were amazing. Also loved the brown butter blueberry muffin. Only disappointment was the ube ginger muffin wasnt fully cooked - tasted great for the parts that were. Wish we had one near us on east coast!

I ordered the Pork Belly Benedict, and it was absolutely delicious. I love me a good pork belly and this was a unique twist on the classic Eggs Benedict that I had to try, adding a savory flavor that complemented the dish perfectly. Everything was cooked well and beautifully presented. My friend ordered the (classic? Daily special?) French toast and completely demolished his plate before I had even finished mine! It looked incredible, and by how quickly it disappeared, we agreed it tasted pretty good (I had a small bite). The ambience and décor are exquisite, creating a cozy yet elegant atmosphere that's perfect for a leisurely brunch. We dined indoors, enjoyed a great conversation over our meal, and never felt rushed. The customer service was friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout our visit. While the prices are a bit high if you're comparing it to a typical breakfast spot, they're exactly what I'd expect from a bistro. I'd recommend budgeting at least $25+ per person if you're ordering a meal. Between the quality of the food, the inviting atmosphere, and the excellent service, I felt it was well worth the price. I would totally recommend this as a fancy breakfast location and would return to try more of the menu.

Kudos to them for trying to make the outside section nice because the view kind of kills it. Pros - it's a very nicely designed space. The hostess and our waitress were so nice and welcoming, even giving me a stool for my bag (and it wasn't even my fanciest bag lol!) Overall, the restaurant is nice, the food seems to be mostly fresh and good quality and service was nice. I actually quite enjoyed my ribeye, despite our broccolinni having no almonds, as stated on the menu. My affogato was good, and the cake frosting and flavors were good. Cons - I say these with love...but we both feel the kitchen was not up to par, or the main chef was off, or something happened because there were quite a few mishaps during our visit. The appetizers were good, but the scallops needed salt and I would not pair them with pineapple, personally. The calamari weren't the most tender, and the breading was interesting - it's definitely not your typical breading, it suited a fish and chips dish better. The sweet and spicy sauce served with it is from trader Joe's...I know because I've bought it before, so I don't believe it's house made. Like I previously stated, the broccolinni was missing the almonds, and the carrots on the side that I ordered for $13 were so embarrassing that the waitress came back after serving us and told us that she spoke to the manager and got those off our bill. That's how ridiculous they were, so thank you to her for having good values at work. While I liked my steak, it was very, very fatty, and my husband asked for medium rare and definitely got medium well. Lastly, the pink champagne cake was disappointing, not because it was yucky, but because the cake itself was clearly days old, and had been freshly frosted. It was tough, dry and stale, while the frosting was fresh and light. Overall, I can see coming back but I'm in no rush due to the price/location/overall food.
