The biggest improvement would be to stop lying to patients when they call on the phone and ask you if you provide a specific service like pulling teeth and you lie and say yes, and they come to you and get their x-rays done and then you refuse to pull the teeth but take the insurance money for the x-rays, leaving us with no x-ray benefit for another three years and not providing us with a copy of the x-rays either which were done at your office. Then I even had the insurance company call your office and the insurance company was told that the billing office would need to be contacted for the x-ray copy, but when the receptionist did not provide a name of someone from billing or put a person on the phone for the insurance company to talk to, the story then switched to where she had to speak to the dentist and did not put the dentist on the phone. Receptionist also flat out lied that I was contacted to come pick up x-rays and I was willing to provide my phone records to show that wasn't true. When the dentist was in the room with me, I asked her four times to look at my tooth that I had broken and she refused to even look at it. What kind of a dentist is that? First, I have to say thank you to the most professional and exceptional Dr. Tatiana Korol. I called her office with and emergency, because I broke my front lower tooth and told the front desk that I have to leave on vacation on Thursday. The staff was very kind, and they calmed me down and told me not to worry, that the Dr. will see me as an emergency. When I came into the office I was very nervous, not knowing what to expect and worried that I won't be able to leave on vacation with a broken tooth. I called as a new patient to schedule an appointment and was given a Saturday morning. The day before I was called to say that the doctor had emergency surgery and I would need to reschedule the appointment . I rescheduled for the same time the following week. When I got in the receptionist and the doctor said they never heard of me, they had no record of my appointment. The regular receptionist was not in and they could not validate my insurance on a Saturday,and I would need to schedule for third time. I booked an appointment with her in March for an emergency situation. The first thing that came out of their mouths was something to the effect of "Because of the covid pandemic, insurances are not responding at the moment, so you need to pay $3,000 and then later when the insurance open again you can submit your claim." As the emergency situation could not wait anymore we went somewhere else that was available so we canceled with Korol and we are happy that we did. Later we realized that this talk about insurance is actually a typical thing they like to say, just that this time they were being opportunists in using the virus to sound convincing, as their usual practice is to not accept insurance for no good reason and desire cash only.
