Tasty pizza is ... not great, but still ... kinda good. Came here for the Family Special, 8 slice pizza, breadsticks, and a 2-liter of soda for somewhat cheap. It fed all four of us, with a few slices leftover and while no one had any glowing praise for the food, no one threw anything against the wall, either. We opted for half cheese/half pepperoni. The crust was okay, an alright caramelization on the breading. I would have liked a nicer char on the meat, but it wasn't terrible. And the cheese itself was chewy and plentiful. The breadsticks, while a bit thin, still have a couple of nice and thicker ones so everyone had something warm and chewy to enjoy. And their dipping marinara was adequate. All in all, a good price, close to home, you could do worse than Tasty Pizza. I still think you're better served spending a few bucks more over at Two Brothers or Union, but this spot can easily do in a pinch. read more

Great Bread sticks but portions were entirely out of proportion, The Skinniest bread sticks I've ever seen, and the pizza is alright, The guy behind the counter was also decent however he didn't explain any of the deals, or elaborate further on my order, he didn't even ask me what topping I wanted on the pizza, which is partly my fault but still. I come here on the regular. My pizza is always done correctly, as I order on the phone. The staff always greets me and smiles. The pizza is delicious made in a timely manner and very affordable which is great for Friday's like tonight, with Halloween around the corner and rent due. Boom $5.99 pizza to the rescue! Salty man behind the counter, I assume is the owner, begrudgingly took our order. Got glared at most of the time just for sitting to wait for our order. We ordered a special of a large pizza, a drink, and 8 wings that supposedly came with ranch. Our food came out and when we dug in, the ranch was actually mayonnaise?? The pizza itself had too little cheese and it'd probably be more worth it to order from Little Cesar's. The beverage selection was decent in variety though.... Positives: Its closer in location and the same price as Lil Ceasers but you get to choose from a lot more toppings. Quality tastes better, and they also have delivery. Picked up a cheese pizza on a whim and was pleasantly surprised by this small pizza shop, the pizza really hit the spot. Nice cheese to sauce to crust ratio to bite into. The crust was the perfect crunch chewy texture. Really enjoyable and for the price you can't beat it. read more

Rudest owner. First she overcharges me on an order. I realized until I got home and saw my receipt so I called her and she said, well next time I will give you 2 ranches next time ("she wrote down my name"). So maybe almost 2 months after I (today) I called to order a pizza. The guy who I spoke with gave a price with what I ordered. When I asked him if the lady was there he passed the phone to her. I reminded her about the situation of the ranches that happened a while ago and she said, I only said one. I told her, you told me 2 . One for charging me over and the 2nd one for the inconvenience just as you promised so she said, yes, now I remember. When I arrive the guy greeted me and I gave him my name The lady stepped out very aggressive and lookedt at how much I had in my hands without even mentiong the total. She said, it's gonna be more than $6. I said ok whats the total because he already gave me one. She said garlic is going to be way more ($3). I let her know before ordering I had confirmed the amount with the guy. She said well if you dont wang the pizza dont take it. I said its not that i dont want the pizza, its about you guys giving me a wrong price for the second time. First you overcharge me and then you want to overcharge me. So the guy comes to the front and admits his honest mistake and she tries to correct him and tell me the correct price. I said im sorry, you have to charge me what was promised. Tonight however, one star. I ordered an XL 1 topping deal at 12.95. I only took half a topping in fact, but they charged me $19 for the pizza. $4 delivery charge - still need to tip, by the way. Yes, the driver told me the charge isn't a tip. Well the pizza was completely smashed into the corner. Obviously someone dropped it. I felt the box off balance and showed the driver, who proceeds to start pulling on the pizza to reshape it. With his hands. Bare. Hands. He gets it spread out and declares "there I saved it". Dude. The 5 star review is only 5 stars because of one of the employees who is dedicated and always offers the best service and really cares about creating quality pizza. Pedro always has a smile on his face and knows how to handle any situation and still care for the customers needs. When I was waiting for a pizza he was getting orders left and right and was also attending a woman who seemed to have issues with the total of her order. It ended up being a mistake on the woman's behalf, but the whole time of him being pressured with all the work he still managed to keep his cool when she was speaking to him with an aggressive and blaming manner. Pedro is absolutely amazing, I love ordering when he's around. The owners have not been the kindest though when they've been around. But Pedro is great and we all know it :) read more

Good pizza at a cheap price! If I'm craving some pie I just head down the street to pick one up at Tasty Pizza. Every time I have gone there was only one person working though, so if there is a few people ordering it can slow you down. Everyone on here that are giving positive reviews either are related to the owner, don't know what good pizza is, or simply got paid to write a review. But, If I could I wouldn't give this place any stars. We came here one time. The wings were so dry that the meat looked like dried up chicken skins, and before I could give my opinion about it my kids took one bite and threw their slices back in the box. The pizza was cold, dry, overcook, and way to much of the wrong seasoning in the sauce. Although I sometimes do make my dough and sauce from scratch, I know that I can put this place out of business real quick with some Chef Boyardee pizza sauce, and Pillsbury pizza dough.
