Don't let the area discourage you! This place was truly a hidden gem! 10/10 Their beef and chicken bowl was delicious, their teriyaki sauce that came with it was amazing. 9/10 their gyoza came out crispy and the sauce was good 10/10 fries, well salted and came out crispy! Service was also amazing! Very kind lady at the front was very kind and explained the menu throughly with a smile. Would definitely come again!

Tried the spicy chicken wings and they are amazing. They are crispy, spicy sweet, and honestly addicting. I usually have to go to Ktown or OC for good K-chicken wings, but now I don't have to go anywhere else. They go perfect with a beer (at home). Service is always great and picking up food to go is convenient.

The food's still good but they changed the containers. They're using styrofoam and smaller ones now. I'm not going back until they switch back.

Great location for take out or dine in. Restaurant is clean and remodeled. Service is fast and friendly. Love the chicken ramen on cold winter nights. Teriyaki chicken, beef or shrimp are all served with generous portions. Love the hot wings. Milk tea boba delicious as well.

I came here on my lunch break on a rainy afternoon. There is a small parking lot located behind the restaurant for convenience. There were. few people eating inside but otherwise pretty quiet here. I ordered the chicken ramen and a watermelon green tea (thank you Yelp for the great photos/reviews!) This looked so good and perfect for the rainy day. The chicken ramen was pretty good, the broth isn't too heavy on flavor but they have some condiments inside that you can add. The tea was good, I would say the quality of the cup concerned me a bit as it felt reusable in thickness and perhaps we can look into alternate options a bit better for the planet. Service was friendly and the wait time was only a few minutes. The inside of the restaurant is kept clean and they do not offer outdoor seating. I'd return to try a few more things from the menu.

Food quality is very good and the service was good as well. The only downside is it's a little bit pricey. I will eat here again though so I recommend this place.

Ask the Community - Tasty Bowl

I wonder what happened ? The food was decent along with the price. Did they relocate?

Hey Joy, The previous owner had a heart attack (survived) and I, Mindy Byun am the new owner but…

How is this business handling reopening? What safety measures are they taking? Are they offering sit-down dining? What about outside dining?

Is the ramen authentic or instant noodles?

    Seems authentic to me

So I went into my trusty Yelp and found this place. Going here was a great decision because we have been good customers ever since. PARKING: It has never been an issue to park here because if the above ground level parking is all taken, there is underground parking with a good amount of parking spots. WHAT WE ORDERED: As you can see from my pictures, my mom, g/f and I have ordered a lot of different things on the menu. Some of them are no longer on the menu, but wished they would have kept it. Some of the hits include: - Bossam with the pork belly (putting in the spicy radish, baby shrimp and garlic are a must!) - Any of their soups (the kalbi tahng and soon dae soup (soon dae only for me because the other pig parts are a bit too chewy) - their cold buckwheat noodles. On a hot day they put some soup flavored slush so keep the dish cold. - their soft tofu soup (soon doo boo). You can't go wrong with the various flavors that they offer. - Their pork neck soup - With winter fast approaching (hopefully because of this stupid Super Duper Extraordinary El Nino What I also really like is the fact that they have items that are good/catered to both summer and winter, so despite it being a blood sausage place (soon dae), they have other things on the menu that are quite good! VERDICT: As previously mentioned, my mom, g/f and I have been good customers of this place and will continue to go here. The family that runs this place are awesome. The wait staff are nice and attentive and the food are a chef's kiss! SIDE NOTE: Another great thing about this place is the fact that there are a great number of places down the street that you can go to for dessert: Paris Baguette, Old Ferry Donut and Bopo. So whether you are on a date or with a group of friends, there are options for an awesome 2-cha.

The interior was clean and spacious, with a laid-back ambiance that made for a relaxed dining experience. Our meal kicked off with an assortment of banchan that was incredibly fresh and easily among the best I've had. Unfortunately, the service was disappointing. We had to flag down the staff a couple of times, and toward the end of our visit, our bill was carelessly tossed onto the table, which felt rather dismissive. **Kimchi Tofu Soup: 5/5** Bubbling hot upon arrival, the soondubu was hearty and deeply comforting from start to finish. The broth was bold and savory, with the kimchi contributing a sharp, fermented sourness. Silky soft tofu and thinly sliced beef were both generously portioned throughout. Served in a stone pot, the rice developed a scorched layer at the bottom with a distinctly toasted flavor and satisfying crunch. A word of caution: the highest spice level packs some serious heat that builds quickly, though I still thoroughly enjoyed the intensity. **Bulgogi: 4/5** Grilled to perfection, the bulgogi was tender and juicy, with a pronounced umami depth complemented by a light, nutty aroma. Its sweetness, however, was a tad overpowering for my preference. **Spicy Pork: 5/5** Succulent pieces of pork were stir-fried in a gochujang-based marinade, with a sweet heat that lingered pleasantly on the palate. On the sizzling platter, the edges caramelized beautifully, imparting a subtle smoky char that added complexity and richness to the dish. **Bibim Naengmyeon: 4/5** Cold and refreshing, the bibim naengmyeon featured bouncy, chewy buckwheat noodles generously coated in a sweet and tangy chili sauce, topped with sliced daikon and cucumber for a crisp textural contrast. My only minor complaint was that the noodles weren't cut, making them somewhat difficult to eat. Despite some issues with hospitality, the quality of the food more than made up for it. A Ri Rang Tofu House has definitely earned a spot in my rotation whenever I'm craving a soothing bowl of soondubu.

I really wanted to like the cold buckwheat noodles more than I did, but they were just okay. The noodles were refreshing, but nothing about the flavor really stood out or left much of an impression. The banchan selection was probably one of the more enjoyable parts of the meal. We got fish cake, seaweed salad, kimchi, bean sprouts, and mashed potato, which gave us a nice variety of flavors and textures to pick at between bites. The stir fried spicy rice cakes, on the other hand, were way too spicy. I don't mind some heat, but the spice here completely dominated the dish. It was hard to pick up much of the flavor underneath all that heat, and after a few bites, my palate was pretty much tapped out. As for the galbi, the meat was nicely seasoned with a decent savory-sweet flavor, but the portion was surprisingly small. For the price, I was expecting a more substantial serving, so it felt a little underwhelming when the plate arrived. Since this place is located inside a food court, the atmosphere is very casual. There are plenty of tables and chairs, so finding a place to sit shouldn't be an issue. I also appreciated the self-serve water station at the counter.
