The service here was great! I went in not knowing what to get since I have never been there before and I asked the cashier about a few drinks and settled on the Great White with 25% sweetness. While waiting for my drink, the person who makes the drinks came out to talk to me and suggested that I up the sweetness because any lower than 50% made it taste like water. Knowing that this place opened by the Long Beach Exchange, I knew it would be popular and busy. I wanted to come opening day, and I'm glad I didn't because even long after opening day it was pretty busy. I do enjoy the drinks, but they're really pricey, just like pretty much everything else inside The Hangar. There's also not very much space inside, so lines end up outside. It was my first time coming here and the first time ever going to Tastea. Hey had a variety of drinks on the menu and all looked very appealing. I like that they use actual fruit in their teas. I had the Island nectar which is an Hibiscus tea with orange juice. It was really refreshing. My sister had got the Jasmine milk tea with boba. Only thing is they didn't have boba because they ran out. Running out of boba at a boba place is like running out of patties at a burger joint. Other than that the drinks were good. I ordered the chicken with "me so spicy" seasoning and fries with the same seasoning. Tastea is a chain and I remember frequenting one of the OG locations in Garden Grove/Westminster. I love that they opened this location at the LB exchange. Location is very open and the service is always on point. You really can't go wrong with any of their drinks! And don't forget to get their popcorn chicken or fries with your drink. So so good. My only complaint and this is for all Tastea location is that there really isn't a medium size beverage. They have two sizes, regular and literally big gulp size. Dear Tastea folks, please consider putting medium cause the regular is too small for a milk tea drinker such as myself and the large is just, well, TOO LARGE for milk tea. LOL read more

I love Tastea, but not this one. This Tastea is consistently inconsistent with their level of sweetness. It irritates me to no end! At the garden grove location and all the other ones I frequent (Artesia and fountain valley), 25% sweet tastes all the same. However, when i order 25% sweet here, it tastes like nothing. So I went up to 50% and still tastes the same... I don't get it. To play it safe, I ordered 50% today and if anything, I could always ask for more sugar, but, now it tastes like 100% sweet. I'm tired of asking for adjustments because they just don't get it right. I've had my drink adjusted 3x in the past, and just left frustrated and unsatisfied. Even my fiancé, who never complains about people making drinks wrong, says the drinks taste funny here. I think I will take my boba cravings elsewhere for now and will only go to the Tastea in gg. There was a long line outside when we arrived, and I was really questioning whether it would be worth the wait. When we finally got to the counter, the gentleman taking orders was super patient with us. My husband tried to order something that was inspired by a couple drinks on the menu but not actually on the menu, and he actually helped us make it happen! It ended up being the Avocado Avalanche with three cantaloupe add ons - two cantaloupe blended and one added in for texture! I got the Bootea Shaker with Honey Boba, light sweetness and less ice. The drinks actually came out really fast despite our complicated order (like almost immediately after we finished paying). So even though the line is long outside to order, the drinks come out super fast with no wait. Drinks were perfect sweetness and boba texture. I'm usually leary of new boba tea places and will definitely be coming back! Highly recommend. So glad I found a new boba place I love in Long Beach! read more

i ordered tastea for the first time through postmates and was quite disappointed. I ordered the strawberry milk tea with boba and fries. The boba itself was okay but not amazing. The fries however were hardly edible. I do not know if it was partly because of the long delivery time (which ik is out of the companys control), but the fries were cold, soggy and not crispy at all. I tried a few anyway and they did not taste like french fries at all-- they had an almost perfume like taste and did not taste like a regular crispy potato-y french fry. I have nothing to compare it to, as I have never tried their fries in person, but would definitely not order them again. read more

We ordered one Taro Milk tea (medium sweet) & a Vietnamese iced coffee (full sweet). after tasking them they were both not sweet at all, so I went back & the gentleman was nice enough to remake them. But the second time was not any better. The taro iced tea tasted like warm milk. No flavor not cold, very disappointing. We love coming here, they have amazing teas & coffee, usually it's a decent experience. But today was so below decent. We ordered an iced almond milk tea with boba & a house special coffee, stood against the wall. They were very active so after 5 mins of waiting I didn't think much of it, it was after we saw 2 families who ordered behind us go up & get their slushee/smoothies/teas that I went up & asked the girl if my order was almost up & she said yup, it'll be right out. Like I said we love coming here because the quality of the drinks is always amazing, this time the almond milk tea was not iced, it was lukewarm & not almond milk but whole. I love this place because there isn't much boba places in the Lakewood and Long Beach area. It's def driving distance and the wait isn't long in particular. Only "complaint" I have is that there isn't a indoor sitting area so if you're here to hang out or get work done, you're out of luck. This place is located within the lbx hangar so there are a lot of nearby restaurants and stores. Other than that, the staff is super friendly and getting your drink fast isn't a problem either. read more

My personal favorite would be "The Unknown". I really like how friendly everyone is here and how welcoming they are as you walk into the door. Honestly? I love boba, there's only a few handful of places that I would consider a 5 star boba place, this being one of them, the Tastea Chain truly has some good freakin' boba AND drinks.
