Ordered my favorite, the avocado avalanche, but was a bit taken aback to see it now costs $6.40 for a regular 20oz since the market price for avocados increases. It was nice that they had a sign out just for customers to be aware of the price for this drink but of course I got it regardless. Drink came out fast (I love how workers start on the drink as soon as you verbally say it). My smoothie was so fresh and creamy with the perfect subtle sweetness (probably from the condensed milk?) Great customer service from Elizabeth who took my order at the register tonight and the guy who called out my drink and even wished me a good night as I left. Tastea is awesome! This is our go-to spot. We've tried their chicken and fries. If you don't like spicy, stick to mild (even mild has a lil spice to give it flavor). We ordered medium before and it was just a bit too spicy for us. Lolol we like spice but not too spicy where we can't enjoy it. We love the peach sweet tea and the strawberry-banana smoothie. Got a tiger milk tea tonight with high hopes but was really let down.. I think the non-dairy creamer might not have been mixed well (or the milk went bad) because my drink had little mushy bits all along the bottom of my cup, and it was NOT boba. The drinks are good and but when it comes to Uber eats they do not look at the special instructions. They put extra stuff in their teas and I don't like for me personally. Every time when I use uber eats and put "no bits, jelly, seeds, etc. they have never left them out. So If you want to alter your order you sadly have to come to the restaurant. This review is only on their fruit tea and honey boba, because that is all I ever get here. I cannot speak for their milk teas (from one of their samples, nothing to write home about). The line went quickly though and the lady at the register was awesome and helpful as it was our first time there. I went with a tootea fruit tea and it was very flavorful! Came here at 9:45pm (they close at 10:00pm) on a Saturday....didn't know businesses that regularly serve food, stopped serving food before they closed...ever. So heads up to ppl who didn't know this, that Tastea closes their kitchen at 8:30pm. Also, they apparently ran out of the egg pudding....which, was super annoying & disappointing on top of them closing their kitchen and no longer serving food after 8:30pm. If you decide to venture to this poorly run location, and you're particularly craving something, do yourself a favor and call ahead to make sure they actually have what you want before you waste your time & gas coming all the way there only to not get one thing you wanted. read more

Ok I really don't see why this place has such high reviews. The drinks are WAY too sweet and they take forever when you order any of the fried foods. Yes I know you can adjust the sweetness level but even with "Lite sweet" it's still too sweet in my opinion. I had to wait 20 minutes for my full order and the fries and popcorn chicken were way too greasy for me. I've been here about two other times before with the same results. I won't be back. I was sooooo overjoyed to finally find a Tastea in my hometown. I don't have to drive far away to finally have this. To be honest, this was my first time trying them and it did not disappoint. They have a pretty extensive menu so it can be overwhelming at first. I settled on the Strawberry Ecstatea and it was delicious. It came with herbal jelly. You can also adjust the sweetness. I also find it interesting that their honey boba is green. They have too many great drinks on the menu, I will definitely be back and try their other drinks. I don't typically like boba because it's just too sweet & I don't wanna drink my calories, but I LOVE Tastea (Ask my friends. They'll tell you it's true). That being said, I was overjoyed when I heard that there'd be a Tastea opening up in my hometown of Long Beach! I waited... forever because the opening date kept getting pushed further and further out. But finally, the doors of Tastea LB opened for its soft opening! Tastea LB has only been open for three (??) days, but everything is awesome. The employees are cheerful and polite (shoutout to Jayden!) and the drinks are perfect :) I have yet to try the popcorn chicken (I can't believe myself) so I can't comment on that yet, but I will be back soon. Tastea is inside of LBX shopping center so you won't be able to see it from the street. Regardless it's a nice place to take a stroll so I recommend it. Parking is ok here since it's a pretty popular area there are tons of people who go. You might need to take a small walk or might get lucky and park right up front. Service was great and if you have any questions regarding up your drink I highly suggest to ask before you buy. Back again for more. This place is great and the vibe is always welcoming. Staff members are friendly and the store is clean and fun. It is located by the Hanger, which is prime for all sorts of different businesses. When ordering, I signed up for their rewards club and they gave out but one get one free drinks. Although it seemed like it was giving out free 20oz drinks, the fine print said you had to purchase a drink prior to getting the free one. I was okay with it since that means I can try more flavors, but I can see someone getting a little frustrated since it does say red 20oz drink. I ordered the strawberry ecstasy, since that's my favorite along with the passion attraction because I like passion fruit. Both orders I added boba which was an extra cost ($0.60). I should have ordered it with light ice, because I would've gotten more that way. The strawberry drinks was bomb however the same can't be said about the passion attraction. It was okay but nothing to rave about. It's okay, you hit and miss one some (can't win 'em all). The boba in my mind wasn't necessary in my opinion. I'll most likely be back for more however.
