    Brown Sugar Bubble Tea
    Avonlea S.

I have been waiting for a boba tea spot in Edwardsville for years, and it's finally here! What I have tried so far has been excellent, and the service has been fantastic as well! I'm super thrilled to see this business grow and can not wait to try more items! I definitely recommend giving this place a try if you're a bubble tea, or any kind of unique tea fan!

My experience was great here, they didn't have what I would normally get so I tried something new after getting some suggestions from who was working. I had the coconut boba iced add boba... after the first sip my day was made. Treat yourself to this place next time you get the chance, YUM.

It is very small and cozy. It was my first time trying this place and the worker was very helpful with telling me what drink is what. The menu has a huge selection. Very retro with a cool atmosphere. There is a small high top bar with two stools. I'm not sure if there was a restroom. My only wish is that there could be a short description in the menu so I could better understand the drink or what it would taste like at least. Can't wait to come back again the bubble tea is delicious!!!

It is a simple complaint to say that the price for tea shouldn't be what it is, but this isn't just tea, it's fabulous, delicious, gourmet, artisanal soul-reviving tea that tastes and looks like nothing you've ever had. I dig it.

I preferred the brown sugar, but that's because it's a traditional milk tea and that's my preference.

They had some very nice pieces of Asian Art all throughout the place. The food was great. The presentation was exceptional. The soup was delicious. The spring rolls were delicious. The heavenly beef was very good. It was some type of beef jerky. The pad Thai rice was good with just enough spice. I asked for a 2 for the spice level. The customer service was great. Our server did a great job. I believe they said he was the owner. He checked on us often. He offered suggestions. He kept our drinks full. He was very personable. Additionally he had a wonderful since if humor. I left very impressed and full. Everything was reasonably priced. There is parking in front. The one area in which they need some improvements was the restroom. It needed to be updated to reflect the rest of the restaurant.

Seriously, I drive up and…read moredown Rte 157 and never noticed this little strip center that sits off the road and down in a hollow. It kind of makes it a hidden treasure and I'm glad that I found it. My visit was during a Saturday lunch and I was impressed. I started my meal with Fried Spring Rolls filled with vegetables and served Thai Sweet Chili Sauce. They were a thin crisp shell, that still gave a nice crunch when bitten into. The sauce was a accompaniment. For an entree I chose, Drunken Noodles and added Beef for my protein. I was torn between Pad Thai and the Drunken Noodle and when I asked my server, she said their most popular dish was Drunken Noodles. Then when I went to add my protein it was between chicken and beef. She said beef was her favorite add, so I went with her recommendation. Once my entree arrived to the table I was surprised by its size. It was huge. It was so big, it could have been a meal for two. Guess who had leftovers for lunch the next day. The noodles were flavorful and lots of tender beef and had plenty of veggies. My spice level was 3 out of 5 and I still was sweating along my hairline. Next visit I may have to scale back to a two. The service was attentive and the young lady who was my server, had a bubbly personality. I also had a young man who brought me my order, checked on me and I wasn't even his table. Now that I have found this hidden treasure, I will definitely be back. When: March 7, 2026 Why: Lunch

The staff was incredibly accommodating -- I wanted to hang out and get some work done on my laptop, and they helped me get connected to the guest Wi‑Fi right away. Even after I finished eating, they kept my drinks refilled and I never once felt rushed, even as the dining room got a little busier. On top of that, they offer an impressive variety -- sushi, ramen, and even boba -- which you don't see at many places in the Metro East. They also have more rolls than most spots around here, and I've never spent as much here as I have at other sushi restaurants. Overall, great food, great service, and a really comfortable place to relax or get some work done.

Then one day, as I went to a business next door, I saw the word Tempura on their windows. That opened the opportunity for me to consider them for a meal. My first visit I tried their Fried Calamari and the Beef Fried Rice. Both were outstanding. The Calamari was better than some of the Calamari that I have had at a sit-down restaurant. Going forward, when I am craving some Fried Rice, I'll be ordering it from, Toko Sushi. My second visit, I enjoyed the Deep Fried Crab Jalapeño and an order of Chicken Teriyaki. Both were outstanding. I learned that I didn't need both. They were large portions, the Jalapeño appetizer can easily be a meal for me. The chicken with the Teriyaki was tender and flavorful. I dealt with two different cashiers on my visits and both were extremely professional. I was impressed with the food and service.
