Been here a few times and it's always a lovely time and café to have breakfast or lunch…read more I came for breakfast with my family and ordered the avocado toast. It had bacon and an egg on top with some sauce and it came with a fruit bowl. it was filling and delicious. I really wanted their delicious brownie, but they didn't have it in at the time but definitely need to come back next time for that. The service was good and we had a great time.

I didn't realize that Alaina's was a sit-down establishment that just so happened to have a refrigerated glass display of sweet treats, baked goods, and cakes to enjoy on-site or to go. Its aesthetic was a lot classier than I anticipated. I thought it would be more of a diner-type environment, but instead it's much more visually appealing as a dining area with both table and booth seating, serving high-end booze and solid cuisine. I ordered their two-egg sandwich with bacon and fruit, which allowed me to live my best life. It was delicious. Their bacon in particular was magical. The iced coffee black helped me wash it down. Price-wise, it was reasonable. I would need to come back for happy hour and discovered they have dinner as well -- originally thought it was only open through lunch hour. It comes off as much more upscale, especially once you enter the interior. I was impressed by Bruichladdich scotch selections on their liquor shelves, as well as their lovely Belgian beers in stock in the bottom-level fridge and on tap. They have brunch-themed cocktails to enjoy. I'll have to return with the missuses to enjoy more, as I was impressed by what I saw. But I need to try dinner there to confirm my speculation.

It's a turkey sandwich with bacon, arugula, provolone cheese, lemon sage mayo served on freshly baked sourdough. Very, very good indeed! Also had their brown sugar & cinnamon iced coffee! Definitely hit the spot. Service is pretty simple, you order, they give you a number, and you seat yourself. When your number is called, simply get up and grab your dish. Location is not very big, like a small coffee shop. So you just have to find the right time go there to get a good seat. But Lingonberry is a nice little bakery/coffee shop with great sandwiches! Go check them out.

The seasonal drinks always seem interesting so of course I had to get the carrot cake matcha. For my entree I decided on the Lapland. There were options for seating which usually never happens so we grabbed a table by the window just before the calvary arrived. The carrot cake matcha was fantastic but I should have gotten the bigger size as I slurped it down in no time. The Lapland was also great. Delicious smoke salmon and cream cheese on a croissant with each bite. The honey mustard drizzle was also a delicious touch as well. Always a good choice coming here. Never a bad sip or bite in sight! Until next time....

We saw meatloaf, chicken piccata, lasagna, ribs, I mean I can go on and on. They also have a market to buy other goods. My one complaint is the staff. The guy who made our sandwiches was so polite, but he was the only one. The hot case is right next to the pizza, so you would think if the lady asked for some meatballs he would take care of it, especially since the deli line was so long. The guy in the pizza station had no customers, but still told the lady she had to wait and ask the deli for the THREE meatballs she wanted. Checking out was the same. Just rude, no acknowledgment. Will I still come if in the area, probably but I'll give them the same energy they give their customers!

So the dirty water gun was soaking in water that he was about to pour into people's glasses. I almost threw up. Then....we witnessed him drop the water jug into the ice - the same ice that servers were using to make drinks. Who knows where the bottom of the water jug has been as I'm sure he has put it down a time or two on bar tops, table tops, etc. And now, it's sitting in the ice. Gross. Lastly, there had to be 100 flies all over the outside bar. Regular flies and also fruit flies. I hate to leave this negative review but am doing so in the hopes that they clean up, because we really love Carmines.

The sourdough was fresh and the sandwich was massive-- This spot is hot and I wanna tell the masses! Yoooooooo..... I have a penchant for delicious breakfast sandwiches. This is in my top five. I went on a morning walk (couple miles) and my reward was trying LL. I'm so glad the Vasa (on sourdough NOT croissant) was nearly perfect. I had black coffee with it. That combo made my whole day. Plenty lingonberry jam I didn't have to ask for extra. Sandwich was piping hot. Huge portion (could have split it if my boyfriend didn't sleep late) but it was so good I just devoured the whole thing!!!! I will go again. I will bring others. I will try something new but this sandwich and the BREAD has my heart. Another review giving it to you straight now chaser. Enjoy! -Lizz aka The Hungry Poet

It was flaky and soft, and the strawberry cheesecake flavor was not too overpowering. The latte was OK, it was a bit bitter for my liking. Service was good, since it was my first time, the barista helped me pick a drink, which I appreciated. Ambience is OK, there is no seating indoors, so plan to get your items to go if you come to this location. Definitely recommend for their pastries.

Unfortunately, after my experience today, I do not plan to return. When I arrived, there were three employees at the front, and I was completely ignored. When a fourth employee finally came to help me, her attitude was unfriendly and dismissive. I ordered two guava pastries. There were pastries on two different shelves, and I politely asked if I could have mine from the lower shelf because they looked more toasted, which is simply how I prefer them. She looked at me with an unpleasant expression and replied, "They are both the same." She then ignored my request and gave me the pastries from the upper shelf anyway. It was such a simple request, and the way it was handled made me feel like I was inconveniencing her just by asking. At that point, I just wanted to leave. I have also noticed that this location has become increasingly dirty and poorly maintained. The service feels disorganized as well. Customers' names are not taken with orders, and receipts do not clearly identify what was purchased; they simply show numbers. I am writing this because I used to enjoy coming here. Good pastries are not enough if customers are made to feel unwelcome. Cleanliness, organization, and respectful customer service matter. I sincerely hope the owner looks into what is happening at the Northlake location. It is disappointing to see a business I used to enjoy decline to this level. Thank you

Luckily the line moved quickly and the staff was more than prepared to handle all the transactions that day with ease. My cashier was very kind and smiling when I placed my order for a Confetti Bundtlet which left me feeling great. The store is very clean and smells absolutely delicious it's so hard to hold yourself back and get only one cake. All the cakes and prices are placed by the cashier and allow you to pick out what you want. There is also an easy way to place a catering order and the staff is nice about answering any questions. As for the cake it was delicious and very sweet and the perfect sweet treat!

Stopped by Nothing Bundt Cakes and let me just say...bihhhhh these cakes do not miss!…read more I tried the biscoff and the oreo flavors at this location. Our cafe at work has NBC on the menu so I've probably had many bundtinis from this location as well. Of thr bundlets, well one was super delicious, the other was good but missing the flavor mark. Both cakes were moist and fluffy, and of course Nothing Bundt Cakes does not play about that cream cheese icing baby. I even got extra icing on the oreo because...why tf not! However, that was a mistake lol Customer service was overall nice each visit. The location itself is a little tricky to find with all the businesses packed into the plaza; it's on the right when you turn in, front faces Northlake. I actually called while trying to locate it and was on hold for a long time, I was lowkey starting to get a little annoying. She came back to the phone right as I found the place. What really stood out the first visit was the gentleman that came from the back because he recognized my order. I was supposed to pick it up the previous day, and they had called me near closing time. I was working late and thought they closed at 8, but it's actually 7 (womp) so he changed my pickup time to the next day. When I walked in, he said, "You made it today!" and I was like hell yeah!!! I'm not letting that shxt happen again! The first visit was for my coworkers, but one of them gave me half of their cake. I already knew how good the biscoff was from when it rolled out the first time so I wanted to surprise them with it since neither had tried it. And while this location wasn't "as" good as my store in Houston, it's still fire! So I came back a couple of days later and bought another biscoff and oreo for myself this time. I ordered it with extra frosting. I said that was a mistake because ol girl tried to hand me any ol one when she couldn't find my order. So I called her on it and it was corrected but I had to wait for them to open one up and add frosting. On top of that, it was way too much icing, wasn't needed so I'm never going to bother with that again. Restaurant is small, of course like the others, not designed to seat and enjoy. Overall, great flavors, good service at this location. And shoutout to corporate because they listened to the people and brought the biscoff right on back; exactly why Nothing Bundt Cakes stays winning. I'll be back...mostly cause I got a BOGO offer on the receipt. My fat azz don't need to keep coming here....
