I remember it well, how could I not? I was wearing my blue jumper. St Patrick's Day was fast approaching and I missed a fry up. I didn't want a good breakfast, I wanted a great breakfast to celebrate it. Tea pudding and all other the trimmings is all that would do.
Sat in front of my PC tearfully mumbling out the words to "put em under pressure" while striking out for Irish food served in Sydney, my eyes were then drawn to their website....... Irish food imported! As quick as Finnan's pass was to McAteer, two clicks is all it took for my mood to be the proverbial ball in the Dutch net. Olé, Olé, Olé, Olé!
Okey doke, moving right along to the review. Are these guys good at deliveries? Yes! Food in the Sydney city metro area has often been delivered to me on the same day. Perishable goods always in a neat little cooler bag you can keep. Practically paying for the delivery fee in itself.
The selection and specialties they get in from time to time has been amazing. I've had 2 Brennans batch loafs delivered along with my black and white Clonakilty pudding that was later drowned in Ballymaloe relish and washed down with Club Shandy.
Not good enough for you? Throw in some Kerrygold cheese and butter which they now deliver, why not have it on on some of their soda bread? What about the other brands and food they have on offer? George Hook himself would find it hard to pick holes in their selection.
Whenever I feel like if we only had old Ireland over here, I know these guy's have heard Ireland's Call for food from home and will bring it to your doorstep! Or leave you horse outside their warehouse in Botany and check it out for yourself!
