First off, I will admit that due to Miracle's sly location between Coles and BreadTop in World Square's basement, I've missed it this ENTIRE time I've lived in Sydney (about a year)
But today, I went.
Miracle is what I've been missing in Sydney -- a clean, straight forward, and affordable Asian supermarket.
Ambiance:
-As I just mentioned - clean, straightforward. Not dodgy like some Asian supermarket's I've been to
-Well lit and well stocked
Good to know:
-Upon entry, you can buy kimchi and Korean style friend chicken on your left
-There's some produce available - but save your money and just get it fresh from Paddy's Market for less
-Pretty good selection of frozen dumplings, tofu, noodles etc. You can find frozen items of as cheap as $3.50 a bag - WHAT? Yes :)
-GREAT butcher - I'll be back for meats.
Service:
-Mostly Chinese speaking...if you don't know what something is, just try it or ask one of the younger folk shopping around - they MIGHT be able to help you
Miracle's got the goods. read more
